OK to have a quick look around. Nice stately building. Don't plan on spending that much time here...

I stayed one night in this special building. It is the central administrative building of Capit.l The city hall is located in the Kruununhaka district next the main market square.

We popped into Helsinki City Hall to find a bathroom for our two year old - well we did, and also ended up spending an hour or so looking at the art installation on Bonk Corporation. We also got free maps of the city, other info and pens. The building is quite interesting itself and well restored/maintained (and accessible)

in this city hall, diverse shops were missing from far, for example there are only some for technological equipment. at least toilets are very clean...

The city hall building can not be missed.. It is at the market square. It is distinctive for its light blue colour that is in contrast the neighbouring buildings. Inside it is a resource of city information

We came to the town hall to take a break from our on foot Helsinki exploration. The Helsinki town hall is a good place to get information about Helsinki. During our visit there was in interesting exhibition about Bonk Corporation in the main lobby. Basically these machines are imagination of Alvar Gullichsen. Funny and interesting at the same time. There is a lot of information to aid you in your visit to Helsinki. A lot of guides etc. in a lot of languages. While I was there I saw an exhibition in the hall which seems to be the norm. Good for a look.

If you don't have a spare 50cent, or are cheap, curious of new places, then go here for clean free washrooms. Not much else for tourists.

A very elegant building overlooking the Market Square and harbour. Great source of Information, maps, brochures, etc., and staff are very helpful in assisting. The day we visited there was a display of various machinery which had been manufactured in Finland. Toilets are very clean and no cost!
