This is a huge rip-off. The entry charge is 7 Euros to visit a ridiculously small submarine that takes altogether about 4 minutes to visit. I've never felt more scammed in my life. Better visit the submarine in the Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam museum in Tallinn,...More

Cool to see an interior of a sub marine. Much tinier than you would imagine. Not a visit for a person suffering from clautsrophoby

Every small submarine. Yes one gained an appreciation for life in such cramped quarters but certainly not worth the admission fee (fortunately we have free admission because of our Helsinki Pass) as it took only a few minutes to go through the whole thing (it...More

This is a very small but well preserved submarine. Much smaller than those I served on. It is a short visit but if you are like me an ex-submariner you will take longer to poke and peer at the boats systems and how things were...More

Once you enter the submarine, you'll see that the outside definitely does not reflect the amount of available space inside. Incredibly cramped and filled with all sorts of knobs and controls, you can only imagine what it must've been like having to share the space...More

You never really understand what submariners went through in WW2 within the cramped submarines of the time. The restored vesikko definitely helps one to understand those conditions. For a mere 5-7 Euros you can have access to the submarine, plus access to the military museum...More

Well located in an exceptionally interesting area to have a look around in. Suomenlinna is a place you need at least a few hours for, maybe even the whole day. Get a 24 hour public transport ticket for 9 Euros in Helsinki, and it includes...More

Funny how the wife didn't want to look at this. Possibly 7 euros a bit steep, but did include entry to the military museum. You can wonder at how 20 men lived in the vessel.

This is the only surviving submarine in Finland, it's an interesting little bit of history and the surrounding location.

A nice submarine. Be warned, it is quite small. That means it wont take long to cover all of it. You can look trough the hole where the torpedo are put. A nice place to check out if you have never been inside a submarine.
