Its the best amusementpark my children have been to. Lots of rides for my 5 year old too. The downside is the prices. Free entry but the rest is very expensive even for a person who lives in Denmark.

If you are traveling with kids in Helsinki, this is a must. Located in Helsinki and accesable with trams (also an experience) from the center. The old wood rollercoster is an icon. The day tickets can be expensive but you can buy sigle tickets or eveing wristband (valid for three last hours)

Definitely not Cedar point or six flags, but it is still a great time. Rides are older and not extravagant but you will still enjoy yourself!

Free to get in which is always a bonus. Free toilets which is a miracle in Europe. I tried two scary rides under duress and still can't believe that I survived. Opening hours vary so check in advance - we went on a 4pm to 9pm session. Accessible by tram.

Linnanmäki is a fairly modest amusement park compared with some big and famous international ones. However, it is by far the best fun for the kids in this part of the world. Linnanmäki is accessible by public transport. Entertainment inside the park varies by night, worth checking in advance. The park is open on summer months only.

Our party consisted of three generations, the youngest being 5 years old. Entry was free and a then 39 euros to go on as many rides as you like as many times as you like, which we thought was a fair deal. The park was clean as were the facilities. All in all we spent an enjoyable 5 hours there.... More

I am adult and expected that in this place there is more space for walking and nature. But it was mainly for kids or for adults who love crazy amusement.

I know that Linnanmäki is nothing if compared to amusement parks in USA but still it sure is one of the best things to do with kids in Helsinki area.

The best thing about Linnanmaki is the fact that it has so many attractions keeping lid on the queues. We spent 2 days going around the park and the longest queue we had was 30min with most times we waited less than 15min. This was in the middle of the summer holidays. Definetely better than Chessington and its 2h queues... More
