This is one of the most amazing places from the outside. Great place to people watch and/or relax with a coffee. The inside has an organ with beautiful pipes and o interesting to look around but by far the outside was our favourite.

You can sit on the stairs in front on it when many tourist will be taking picture. Simple from the inside. Located in the city centre, close from the shopping district.

With a clear blue sky back drop it was a sight to look at! Quite steep steps to go up but was with it. It was quite near, walking distance from our hotel and near the bay.

Very beautiful building close yo the Parliament Square. A true character in the town and close to so many great spots. When inside and alone, very peaceful and nice architecture. Could sit all day there as well.

This is the main (or at least the most visible) church in town, and an imposing neoclassical structure perched atop a hill overlooking the port and the administration buildings. The church is as white as they come: even at the end of winter, with dirty snow still piled in the shadows around the parks an a layer of thin dust... More

The Cathedral is just a street up from the harbour. It's stunning and the area around it has this surreal sense of peace about it. Definitely a must see!

The cathedral is a must to visit when you go to Helsinki. It is a beautiful, historical building inside out. It is very easy to find and you can see it nearly from everywhere in Helsinki. At it is close to the habour and to the centre, it is in walking distance.

A place to visit is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki. It is located in the neighbourhood of Kruununhaka. It was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland. The building was later altered by Ernst Lohrmann, whose four small domes emphasise the architectural connection to the cathedral's model, Saint Isaac's... More
