Helsinki Cathedral was in Senate Square and visitors could not possibly miss it because it is one of the iconic landmarks in Helsinki.

Absolutely worth a visit. The view from the top of the stairs was of the harbour and impressive.inside the church is very plain but really beautiful and calm. It is a working Lutheran church.

It's a beautiful structure especially if you're there on a sunny day. We arrived there when it was completely overcast but the clouds were partly gone and the sun started shining. It's white colour looks more beautiful in the sun. It is not very crowded...More

Take a rest on a stairs, relaxing atmosphere. Try to choose sunny day and you will see amazing pictures with contrast of white cathedral and blue sky.

Really enjoyed the visit. Stark and graceful/elegant edifice overlooking town square. The visitors were for once quiet and respectful - such a change from the usual mob.
