The area nearest to the Harbour is lively. Good range of (relatively) inexpensive craft stalls. Hugely Popular Food stalls where you can get either a tasty snack or a full meal. Salmon Fish Soup with bread is highly recommended. A bit of a scrum -...More

This iasa must see in Helsinki. The park is lined with all the best shops in the city. At the end is the harbor and the market. In summer you can stroll almost 24/7 with no concerns. Lots of places to eat. Finns love the...More

Beautiful esplanade from the city centre to the Market Square, being a wide path between rows of large trees surrounded by the upmarket shops and apartments. There is a delightful coffee shop at the MArket Square end which is worth a visit.

Main shopping street with many expensive shops and fine dining is possible too. You just have to do it.

The park is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is however, lovely. It will take less than 10 minutes to walk the length of the park. Seriously. :)

There are some lovely old buildings with interesting architecture that are now restaurants. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant was overflowing...More

I do believe where the cruise ports you just keep walking west a couple of blocks and you will be in the middle of Esplanadi. Lots of shops, snacks and salons. Public market at the port, too. Local food and art/crafts. Enjoy!
