It is just wonderful to sit on one of its benches and follow people passing by. In summertime there is a lot of happenings. At christmas it is beautifully lighted.

I think if you visit after Christmas and before summer there is nothing happening. Very attractive Central Park with a number of small monuments

This is located near Market Square. We had stepped into this park on the first day while exploring the city by walk from our hotel. The Christmas decorations were still there and place looked magical with white snow on the ground and the blue sky...More

Esplanadi "Espa" is the most beautiful way to kauppatori market place and kauppahalli market hall by the sea, and back to the city centre. In the summer time there are many nice coffee and ice cream shops, lots of people, music.. But it is worth...More

Hear about it before, go to have a look. Nothing interesting at all. May be because of the winter, wet snow and bad weather.

In Winter and during Christmas it looks absolutely beautiful. The market is nearby and this is the place to be in. Christmas lights decorate this place up as one of the best places in Helsinki. In summers it is a nice place to spend time...More

Wonderful place to visit on a beautiful day. You can stroll quite a ways and venture to various shops and eateries next to the park. Nice to relax, soak up some sun, and watch the people go by. A true oasis in the bustling city...More

Just walking down the Esplanadi Park is so relaxing and very nice. When there in the winter time, it is especially nice with the snow and Christmas decorations. This was the case for us today! SO pretty.

I do believe where the cruise ports you just keep walking west a couple of blocks and you will be in the middle of Esplanadi. Lots of shops, snacks and salons. Public market at the port, too. Local food and art/crafts. Enjoy!
