Well worth a visit just for the building which architecture is stunning. Even as a fan of a contemporary art broadly, not many of the exhibitions on offer really interested me but nevertheless a varied programme.

It does not really matter if you like modern art or not, the museum is worth visiting. If you are in Helsinki first Friday of a month Kiasma has a free entry. Take a chance and spend a hour or two there and broaden your...More

Loved the exhibits that were open, especially the one by Pilvi Takala. If you enjoy contemporary art, this is worth a stop. During my visit, some of the halls were closed.

Exhibitions for the moment require some artistry of their visitors to be appreciated. The goal of making contemporary art available to as many as possible feels a little hard this September month.Popular cafe in the street level if you want to tanke in the impressions.

I have never met an art museum or gallery I didn't like. This one was very cool on many levels: the space age exterior, the interactive exhibits on offer, and the variety of media shown and showcased. I enjoyed every minute spent here and was...More

We were able to get free entry to Kiasma as it was the first Friday of the month. This is a spacious museum with a number of interesting exhibitions. Probably not for young children. I enjoyed the videos of the "touching lady' who crossed personal...More

I had a 15 hour layover in Helsinki and I had planned to visit Kiasma after deciding to pick one art museum out of the many art and design museums in Helsinki. Situated within a 5-10 minute walking from the Helsinki train station, Kiasma is...More
