This is a cinema experience where the seats move in line with the movement on the screen. We joined the more "action orientated" Helsinki tour but there are others such as the Finland show that are more relaxed and if you get motion sickness it would be better to try one of the other shows as the Helsinki tour did cause a little motion sickness for me. The show though is good and includes some of the key Helsinki sites that you will want to visit such as the Suomenlinna island fortress and the cathedral.
I would recommend you do this early in your stay in Helsinki as it will give you some idea of sites to visit.

Booked tickets online for my husband and I to do the Finland tour - you get a bit of a discount by doing this. The website clearly stated the 4D films would be running until 8pm on weekdays. We arrived around 6:40pm and saw the sign on the door saying in actual fact they were only open until 7pm. I did raise this with the worker inside but he didn’t comment or seem to care. Luckily we were able to watch the film and it was a great experience, especially as we didn’t have to queue and got the theatre to ourselves. We enjoyed the unique nature of the experience, including the sensory effects and getting to glimpse picturesque Finnish scenery. Would recommend to other tourists!

This is a great piece of entertainment! It might be the first thing you want to do. The flying tour of Helsinki brings the visitor over and through the city. A five-senses experience, the seats tilt, wind rushes, and the sound is great. As pensioners, we paid 10 Euros for the ten minute show. There usually isn't a long line so walk right in.

Flying cinema tour of Helsinki was a disappointment. We visited the cinema with my colleagues and one colleague from China. We all felt a little uncomfortable during the movie. I expected to see a good quality film as it was 4D and the price is ~10 euros for 12 minutes.

The quality of the film was quite bad, the picture was not sharp. The film also had weird action elements, that didn't fit the theme. Driving very fast in the lake area (what's the point? you can't even see the views when driving 200km/h) and crashing the car and falling in the lake was not what I expected. There was way too much super fast moving from place a to place b, it would have been nicer to enjoy the views more. Some of us even felt a little bit sick after the movie. Maybe children might enjoy this action filled blurry tour of Helsinki.

However, this movie offers a somewhat good overall picture of Helsinki during summer time. If you visit Helsinki during winter, this movie shows you how summer looks like in Helsinki. If you have absolutely nothing else to do and it's been raining during your whole trip, this movie might be worth checking out.

Our first Flying Cinema Experience and one of the best attractions we visited in Helsinki.

Had no intention of going, and hadn't put it on the itinerary but it was next to our hotel and it was cold wet and 6pm in the evening. The museums we wanted to go to were closed so I jumped online and got the combo deal for Helsinki and Finland.

Why I didn't put this on the list is beyond me. It was epic. Loved every second! We went in, and the guy behind the bar was so helpful, friendly and approachable. There was a children's party going on so he split the two sessions which was actually better, and we ended up having the place to ourselves. Best position top center.

Finland one was amazing and breathtakingly beautiful. I just wanted to go to all the places in real life and plan to do so now, I knew Finland was beautiful but this really opens your eyes.

The Helsinki one was definitely more thrilling, with lots of twists, turns and speed! The effects were awesome and we went to every place afterwards apart from the last one so it was cool to see here then go in real life.

If I had to pick one, I'd go for Finland. But they had a good deal so if you can get it, just go for both, you won't regret it.

Went with a friend early on a Saturday afternoon. Had two tickets in my Christmas stocking so decided to put them to use!

Got there and it was pretty much empty but it's a lovely little place. The young guy who greeted us was very nice. Polite and funny.

We sat and had a beer while we waited for the Finland tour.

Well worth the wait. Not what I was expecting. I won't say more but just visit and see.

I got scared a little at one point 🤣

Beer was a good price by the way.

It was much more fun than expected. The place was nice, screen room more biger than I thought and the service was best. We saw two animations in a row and kids (6 and 9 year olds) wanna go back already.

Specially as the ”guy there was so nice and fun”

We got tickets for this because we had limited time in the city and wanted to do a fun, quick activity. We did the flying tour of Finland and really enjoyed it, it was great to learn more about the country and see other places we might want to visit. Fun for kids and big kids alike!

We did the Finland + Helsinki for 22€ apiece, and I thought it was well worth it. We were quite lucky (on a cold 26 Dec) to have the cinema to ourselves. As recommended, we sat top row, center. The 4D (3D with glasses plus moving seats, wind and other stimuli) was excellent. The filming (much apparently by drone) captured the beautiful country very well. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great visuals, a quick way to learn about the city and plan the rest of your stay. Lots of motion, best to visit on an empty stomach. Very friendly staff and facilities are clean, have clean bathrooms and a nice are a to have warm/cold drinks. I “Highly” recommend.
