We had booked a package of tours for the 7 days we were in Rovaniemi. We could not have been happier with the package that was organised for us. The instructions re meeting places and times were clearly stated and each time we had a transfer booked the driver was on time. Necip was prompt in answering all of our queries. There was a slight misunderstanding at the beginning of our trip but we were impressed at how quickly it was resolved. It was great to meet Necip afterwards in Helsinki. We have no hesitation in recommending this company and would certainly use them again if we are fortunate enough to visit that part of the world again.

Necip was very responsive from the time we enquired and helpful throughout our trip in ensuring that our needs were met. The tours were well organised and the guides were really nice and knowledgeable. Thank you Finland Local Guides for the memorable holiday for our family. Highly recommended!

Very easy trip, great guide (Thanks Marina), lots of interesting stuff, buildings, etc. Many great places to eat and drink and very relaxed. My advice - the trip instructions are not very clear, but you just need to turn up to the ferry terminal and pick up your tickets. The guided portion is great but I would maybe ask to not cover so much, and focus on the history, photo opportunities and interesting buildings. Also be aware many locations have an additional cost to get into so pick your interests !

It was nice to not have to book a ferry and tour seperately. The meetup with the guide was easy and the group size was only 5. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was also plenty of free time when the tour ended which was great to have for souvenirs and food. My only reservation is you could probably save significantly by booking the two seperately (ferry and tour). However, due to the small group size and ease of booking it was still a great experience.

Good impression with you. Your response were so fast. You were very quick and arrange well on my last minutes notice. You are so caring and inform all the crews and staffs that I am deaf,... I am so touch.....
Very good impression for the activities's drivers and crews, patient with me being Deaf. They try to communicate on "ready" writing notes and also writing on paper especially the Reindeer from Poro Farm. He told me about the story of Reindeer, very funny. I understand what he try to communicate and gesture...with simple wordings. And Husky from BearHill, Snowshoe hike and SnowMobile from Travellers of Arctic Lifestyle, just nice to enjoy...breeze..
I'm also very impressed and happy that you made an afford to meet me with my sister, Michelle. for drink at the cafe after the trip at Rovaniemi .
Lastly, I was really enjoyed with the activities. Have good memories this Lapland.
Praise you and the staffs for the good jobs.

Family of four and Helsinki was the first stop on our cruise. We wanted a combination of highlights that could not be found in excursions offered by the cruise company itself. All preliminary work (which highlights, price, combination of walking and public transport) happened in a very fluent and friendly way. As from the very first contact we were confident and had a very good feeling of our local guide Nick.
Upon arrival, he had the tickets ready to get faster to the city center.
We enjoyed each and every highlight: Tempellaukio church, Music centre, Esplanadi park, national museum, Stockmann, railway station, old market, senate square, Helsinki cathedral, Suomenlinna. Nick was right to ask us beforehand to be in good shape.
Moreover with his pleasant personality, his enthusiasm and his sense of responsibility (to be back in time on the ship!), he offered us a perfect experience!
Highly recommended.

We got the 10.30 ferry from Helsinki. Easy to get the terminal 2 by number 6T or 7 tram. Easy to check in. Pleasant waiting area. Ferry was lovely - lots of different spaces to find seating - bars, buffets, plane type seating. Toilets nice a clean. Excellent running to time there and back. On arrival at Tallinn there were signposts Old Town but then they disappeared and we had to resort to google maps in the pouring and gusty wind - walking distance though. Old town was was very pretty.

I have taken many walking tours in many cities, but this was one of the most disappointing ever and even quite expensive. Our guide Ari's (or so) English was excellent, but his knowledge was insufficient for a tour guide. Not a single story, nothing interesting, information imprecise (eg: this was the second or third prime minister; as far as I can remember the church was built in the sixties). Very disappointing.

Super Tour of Helsinki...! we signed up to a group tour but because the group was getting too big Nick dispatched Emre to give us our own personal Tour... he met us at our Hotel...
Walking and Tram seems to be the very best way to see this fantastic City...thoroughly recommended

How far away from the cruise dock is the Alexander II statue where the Helsinki Highlights Tour by tram and walking tour begins? Also our ship docks at 9:00 and the tour begins only at 9:30?

Thank you for contacting us. It takes roughly half and hour by tram to city center. If you take a taxi than it will take shorter to reach there. If you like you can have this tour as private tour and we meet you right at the cruise Port and take you back after the tour.

Thanks for your message. Well we have several options for Helsinki walking tour. The most affordable is Small Group walking tour for 3 hours. it cost 25€ per person. It is every Saturday and Sundays. If you be in the city in a week day please ask for availability.
If you travel with your friends and family members you can also pick it as private tour. We have also longer version of this walking tour such as 5 hours to see more attractions in Helsinki.
If you share more information such as how many of you? when you are planning this tour? than i can help much better.
