I visited EMMA for the first time. I liked it, especially because it is located in the WeeGee house which also houses 4 other museums (such as the City museum, a Toy museum and a Clock museum). That's convenient for families and groups with different interests. When it comes to modern art, I think it is always a gamble. New... More

This is a place to see art, clocks, toys and much more in one go. Everything for everybody in the family. I have visited this place many times to see the different changing exhibitions. Also my son (5-7y) loves to go there. The main thing of course is the toy museum that has also a lot to do. The museum... More

This a modern museum building, a former publishing house building. There are several museums: Emma, the art museum, Clock Museum, Toy museum as well as Espoo History Museum. There is also a cafe/restaurant serving lunch, coffee, sandwiches, cakes and food items. E.g. organic Jymy icecream which was recently awarded as an organic food product of the year 2016. Museum shop... More

A museum having several specialized exhibitions in addition to their own arts collection. There is a clock exhibition , a toy exhibition and usually one or two arts exhibitions of traditional or currently timely artists. Spacious premises, good cafeteria, nice gift shop, friendly personnel, reasonable prices.

One of the best museum of contemporary art in Helsinki region. It is just 15 minute bus trip from central Helsinki. Museum has also nice cafe for lunch. Museum and the building is very open and easily accessible with kids too.

Great exhibitions. The UFO outsidè tops it all - the 1960's dreams. Love it. Museum shop abovè average. Cafe has nice items and enough space. Onè thing I miss sometimes is kind of rcommended route to takeonexhibitions.

My family has the habit to visit this place several times per year, and we always enjoy it. Her you'll find the masterpieces of contemporary local and international artists and periodical exhibitions. In the building, we have several museums (The Finnish Toy Museum Hevosenkenkä is a permanent favorite for my daughter) and Deli+Café is just great!

EMMA is a very good Museum for Modern Art. It usually has several changing exhibitions in addition to its own permanet collection. In the same building there are several other smaller museums like Clock Museum and Espoo history museum. Wednesday evenings after 18.00 are free entry.

It is always nice to visit this great museum of modern art. The Saastamoinen collection is so interesting and the building is very suitable for modern art. Finnish modern art as its best. The latest exhibition of ceramic artist Rut Bryk was a something special, unique artist in Finland. The location of the museum is not the best possible and... More

Worthwhile to visit if you visit Tapiola garden city anyway. There are four museums in the same building. The EMMA is the main museum and usually they have good exhibitions there. Depending on what they have on that day of course. The exhibition change time to time. Not necessarily a place to visit if you spend only few days in... More
