One Day Cruise to Amorgos from Paros Island

Come with us to Visit Amorgos, the most eastern island of the Cyclades, with its elongated shape seems to protect the eastern small Cyclades. The excursion boat starts its journey from Piso Livadi at 09:15 and reaches Katapola port at 11:45. Amorgos stands proudly in the center of the South Aegean Sea, making it the crossroads where the North meets the South. The mountain scenery, the traditional lifestyle and the endless blue of the sea fascinate the visitor. It is worth visiting the beautiful Chora and the unique monastery of Chozoviotissa. At 17:00 you will get on board and at 19:20 you will be back to Piso Livadi.

There are several cafés, bars and restaurants on Aegiali's so-called 'Sunset Strip', especially popular - as the name suggests - in the evening hours. One of them, in the lower part, is the 'Maestro', which at Tripadvisor has an entry not only under 'Things To Do', but also under 'Restaurants'. As with most others one sits under an awning made from beams and reed. At the terrace's outer edge is a row of bar stools, facing the sea, while further back are wooden tables with classical Greek coffeehouse chairs. When I visited after a dinner elsewhere, pleasant jazz music was playing in the background. First a glass of water and a menu card was brought, handwritten in a school notebook. I went for a Greek coffee 'metrio', which was nicely poured into the cup from a 'briki' at my place. With it I had - most typical for Amorgos - a 'Psimmeni Raki', a spirit, which for once was served cool with an ice cube in it.

Amazing family run bar with stunning views and friendly service. We come here every time when we are in Amorgos and are welcomed like old friends. There are few things better in life than watching the sun set with a drink sat here.

My friend and I came here for breakfast after waiting over an hour for pancakes, we had to leave to catch a bus before our food arrived. The waitress was rude and shouted at us like it was our fault, when really our order had clearly been forgotten.
