There is not much left of the castle. There are some information boards, wich I recommend reading (finnish, swedish, english). We found this place very interesting and beautiful.

The best view was from the bridge. It good that the old ruin is a visitor attraction but there isn't much to see. Access is via a small footbridge.

This, the world's northernmost castle ruin, has an interesting history and is well worth a visit. It dates back to the early 17th century and is strategically situated on a small river island. Information boards give a good background to visitors.

Nice castle ruins, next to an amazing river. You can get some beautiful pictures here. Also a perfect and quick stop for families. The only disappointing thing is that some of the walls have been tainted with graffiti.
