We were warmly welcomed by Suvi, the owner. Her website explains her extraordinary backstory of how she and her husband started this whole business accidentally 😲😃 As we visited during the midnight sun season, we opted for a late evening horse riding through the wonderful Lapland forest. On arrival at the farm we were greeted by her dogs, the bleating of sheep and the whinny of horses. They own around 20 horses. 🐎 My wife was paired with Donna "the Lazy" (as Suvi explained to us) which was well suited. My horse's name was Into "the Restless" which indeed was accurate. We got to brush the horses to get to know them, we strapped on the saddles and mounted our horses. After a brief and clear instruction on handling, we were ready to go. It had rained beforehand, so there were the other national creatures of Lapland; mosquitos! 🦟 They were just as enthusiastic as we were. I would recommend that people with a high intolerance wear (riding) gloves, and suit up as much as possible, as these mozzies are particularly cunning. We set of on a forest trail in a line with Paulina our instructor leading and Donna at the back. The horses knew the drill and followed eachother, well, most of the time. Into, my horse was excited to be out, with all the tasty plants and leaves and was testing my will against his. I think we reached an agreement eventually, but it was great to ride with such a character! It took about 2.5 hours and loads of up and down hill, uneven paths... And tasty tree branches. We really enjoyed the whole experience and we're very impressed with the people, location, equipment provided and the horses. Thank you Suvi and your team!

I booked a midnight sun horse riding excursion to try something new as I had never been on a horse before. The horse ranch owner, Suvi, picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the ranch. She then expertly paired us with a suitable horse and after the initial guidance off we went. We rode in the beautiful forest trails of Lapland. I felt safe throughout the trip as the horses knew what they were doing and even some small hilly bits were no problem at all. The only tip I would give is to be prepared for the mosquitoes and wear repellent and suitable clothing. All in all we had a fantastic time and it was a memorable experience that I will remember for the rest of my life! Thank you Suvi and the instructors who rode with us!

What a wonderful experience riding almost four hours on the time of the midnightsun. Beautiful views. Horses took us safely through the forrest and up and down the hills as we fooled (huiputtaa) three different hills. Suvi was very good guide tellung ys how to handle horses. She also told us stories about Lappland and shared her knowledge of the Lappish nature.
