A huge thanks to Janir for organizing the trip of a lifetime. He really took a customer centric approach, listening to what I wanted and building the trip around what interested me and worked within my budget.
Amazingly, he was able to work with my peanut allergy, making sure that everywhere I stayed would be safe for me, letting me focus on enjoying my trip instead of worrying about if I could eat or not.
Every part of the trip was fantastic. From the pickup at the airport to getting my gear sorted right away at the start, to the experiences and places I stayed.
He organized a challenging 2-day snowmobile trip with my guide named Visa who took me over the river and through the woods up north to sleep in an island cabin. Beyond the beauty of experiencing the nature along the way, it was an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the area from my guide, who was luckily a great cook as well.
The accommodations were cozy and enjoyable. All of the meals, comfy rooms, and overall hospitality of the places I stayed made for a totally relaxing time away. Each spot had its own charms, with hosts like Minna and Aarno who took us on a trip out to see the auroras (and her cooking was excellent), and the views from Star Arctic up on the mountain.
In one case I was scheduled to rent a fat bike for snow riding but due to weather conditions the trails were closed. When it didn't fit my schedule to move it to another day, Janir arranged a refund of the cost that I received the next day.
I strongly recommend working with the Lapland Private team and am still incredibly appreciative of all their hard work. Seeing the Northern Lights and Lapland was at the top of my bucket list, and Janir helped to make it an incredible experience that I haven't stopped talking about.

We’ve booked 3 attractions via Lapland private- Reindeers farm, Ice Castle and northern lights tour. All were amazing! We fed the Reindeers and learnt about them & the tradition over hot coffee and cookies in the Kota. The ice castle was very fun as we had it all to ourselves this time of the year ;) we also “chased” the northern lights around a hot fire, hotdogs and other treats :)

From the first moment we spoke with Shirley from lapland Private she was so cordial and pleasant! She answered every hour, was available and made changes for us until the day before the flight just so that we would be satisfied with the route and take full advantage of the trip! Even when we got to one of the attractions and we had problems with my driver's license, we called Shirley at ten at night and she solved the problem for us! There is no doubt that we recommend everyone who wants to enjoy the trip 100% to do it through Lapland Private, how easy, comfortable, pleasant and peace of mind it gave us!

We, a group of four friends, spent a long weekend in Rovaniemi. Janir acted as our tour guide for the entire weekend, from the moment we arrived at the airport to the moment we left. Janir picked us up and also took us back to the airport. In addition, already before the trip Janir recommended us a superb Airbnb accommodation.
Before the trip we let Janir know our preferences in respect to activities, and he planned the entire weekend based on our wishes. He picked us up every day for the day's activities, made sure we had proper gear and clothing as well as had snacks and drinks with him for the entire group.
The activities were well planned and provided by high quality partners. The hike and northern lights excursion were carried out by Janir himself. All activities were adjusted to our fitness and comfort level ensuring maximum fun.
All in all, our trip exceeded our expectations by far thanks to Janir. Best tour guide we have seen in the business and best active vacation any of us ever had! We felt very well taken care of and did not have to worry about anything, which let us enjoy the most of what Lapland has to offer.

We flew to Lapland independently, when we booked the attractions and the night at Apoka Resort through Shirley from Private Lapland. Everything was perfect! Shirley's recommendation of the resort is completely justified and her assistance and availability were extremely helpful before our arrival and even during our stay. The attractions we ordered met exactly our requests and exceeded expectations. It was excellent!

We have just returned from one week trip to Lapland with our little kids. We weren't sure which activities will be suitable for the kids and quite worried regarding the cold and driving in snowy weather. Lapland private helped us built the perfect private trip for us, provided excellent winter suits with the exact sizes we ordered and also transportation between the locations. In addition we had direct connection with Shirly from the agency prior and during the trip to get additional tips, recommendations and other info. The guides and drivers who welcomed us were very friendly and warm with the kids. Our overwhole exprience was absolutly great and we strongly recommend using their services so you can focus on getting the most of the amazing Lapland

Everything worked just fine: starting with the very first communication, discussing of attraction's options, reasonable price, and kind bits of advice.
In case of each, even very small question, Shirly was available and answered immediately.
If you want to eliminate unnecessary headaches planning your Lapland trip - use Lapland Private. Highly recommended!

We're a family of 5, kids are 13,9,6 - decided to go on a trip to Lapland approx.5 weeks in advance.
We reached out to Lapland Private, which was by FAR, the best decision we made.
We didn't want a group organized trip, rathered staying on our own as much as possible.
Shirley, the coordinating agent was absolutely phenomenal!
She listened carefully to our needs, our hasistations and ultimately built up the perfect itinerary for a week in Lapland!
It was exactly what we hoped for and had in mind! All the best attractions, by the best vendors, all was high level coordinated yet flexible for any weather changes or personal requests.
She even sent us during this week constant Aurora updates and checked in on us making sure we're happy and satisfied!
Perfect trip, perfect planning - zero headaches, maximum fun and ability to actually be present without being bothered by logistics.
Highly recommended!

Great for small groups who prefer a personal touch.
Adjustable attractions: Shirley recommended an Lapish workshop where we accommodated by a lovely family, got some nice historic explanations and made earrings and key holders from Antlers horns.
Shirley knew how to react quickly to replace the Sampoo icebreaker that suddenly closed and turned us to Icebraaker polar explorer and arranged the trip to board it in Sweden.

Our team of 8 people (and myself) are demanding customers and for once I can tell that I was genuinely really happy with how Lapland Private took care of us from first contact made into flight landing at home destination.
Throughout the trip I felt that the (rather tight) schedule was holding and we were being offered the best service providers available for excursions.
They organized our trip from our point of view, which is the most important thing.
