Our story starts in Rovaniemi with two mates, who in 1982 had four snowmobiles and a desire to share the beautiful sceneries of Lapland with other people. The plan was to arrange adventures that guests would remember for life. The pair decided to offer customers something new: meticulously organised adventures in the wilderness nature of Lapland. The market welcomed this concept with open arms and Lapland Safaris began to grow both in reputation and in size. Nowadays we are the most experienced and reputable safari company in Finland operating in Rovaniemi, Levi, Ylläs, Saariselkä and Olos.

Really well organised company with systematic approach to dressing and organising everyone. Guides were excellent and the tours themselves were great. Only downside being the groups were 20+ people and so you only move as fast as the slowest person. But you get that everywhere and otherwise no complaints to be had!

They were nice. They start in time and give you high quality equipment. The Heart of Nature was fun since there is lots of Snowmobiling and some fishing and some snow walking. The lunch they serve is very basic (nothing to eat for vegetarians) The guides were nice but it seemed like they are doing this as their job and... More

We had a great fun on a 2 day overnight safari to the cabins from Luosto, our guides Mika and Laura did an excellent job. the safari is starting with a limiting to 40 kmh green key, which is replaced to a regular key after everyone is comfortable with driving of the snow mobile. The guides have enough equipment to... More

We snowmobiled, drove huskies, drove reindeer, cooked over open fires, and trekked in snow boots. We felt well-looked after the whole time. If you book 3 safaris or more, you can keep the clothes, boots etc for your entire stay. Highly recommended.

We started with a Snowmobile safari on day 2. My husband drove and sat behind him. What a hoot! drove over the frozen river and into the wilderness where the snow was almost waist deep in places. Sopped mid way for a hot berry drink. Fantastic day. e both loved it. Day 3 Huskie safari, my turn to drive. The... More

We went on a nighttime snowmobile trip, heading up a frozen river then into the forest where we stopped for drinks and sausages around a wood fire before returning to the town. Great fun and the arctic landscape takes on a spectacular hue in the moonlight

We headed out at 6pm last night on our first snowmobile safari and what an amazing experience it was! They provide you with overalls, boots, warm scarves, helmets, mittens and socks and in pairs you head out across the frozen waterways into the forest for a fire-lit snack and drink to hopefully see the Northern Lights - we weren't lucky... Did both as you should, love snowmobiles and learned that huskies only crap when they get out of camp. Take a comb to get the doo doo's out of your beard and don't laugh with your mouth open. Snowmobiles are brill fun, couples will share a vehicle but you get the chance to swap drivers halfway through. All clothing and... More

We went on several of there arctic experiences and found evryone to be led by fun informative staff. The quality of their loan clothing is excellent as is all the equipment they use. health and safety was paramount at all times and though it can appear expensive it is a quality organisation offering a first class service.
