Having the best week in Parpalandia! :-)

We (18 Erasmus Students) had such a great time at Parpalandia and would definitely recommend it! Ismo and the other people living there are really nice and so helpful! It was really easy to keep in contact with Ismo and while we were there, they were always really helpful and were super caring. The activities (we did the husky tour, the northern lights tour and the snowmobile tour) were also highlights for all of us. They also had loads of snow clothes available that we could borrow for the activities. As we were a bigger group, they were really kind and gave us good discounts for the activities. The house was absolutely suitable for 18 people - having a big living room, a fully equipped kitchen, enough beds for everyone (super comfortable!!) and the sauna(s) were just great! If there is any chance to visit Parpalandia again, we would definitely do so :-)

Snowmobile Northern Light Hunt

This tour offered me an experience of a lifetime. As a solo traveler, I was having a difficult time booking a snowmobile adventure because most online bookings required at least two people. Parpalandia replied promptly and offered me a tour, and the tour guide, Mattia, enhanced my experience. He was extremely friendly, and I felt comfortable conversing with him about his adventures and my own. The snowmobile adventure was extremely fun. It was much easier to ride than I assumed, and we did see the Northern Lights. We got lucky, and even though we were overtime, Mattia allowed us to stay and capture the beauty of the lights to the fullest. Thank you for taking us to an amazing location and providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Mattia is so knowledgeable about the Lights, and even said the lights we saw were one of the best he has ever seen! Mattia deserves a lot of credit, bonus, a raise, or anything else the company can offer because he enhanced my experience so much I will offer this tour to anyone else coming to Rovaniemi!

Snow Shoe walking - absolutely a must

Snow shoe walk with guide. this was by far the best experience we have had. A snow shoe walk through the forest leading to the look out tower. The views were amazing and the tranquillity of the snowy forest was breath-taking. our guide was fantastic, there when we needed him and also allowed us time to take in the views without feeling pressed or pushed for time.
The way back lead us to a fire pit, where our guide made a fire and cooked up some sausage and cheese (best ever) and finished off with warm juice and marshmallows.
I cannot recommend this enough. To see Finland in its natural beauty is just too good for words. If you don't do this you really will miss out. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience. :-)

Do not recommend. Booked a husky sled ride with them but they did not pick me up, had me waiting in the cold for more than 45 min. Thankfully Get Your Guide refunded my money, but given it was a short holiday in Rovaniemi, this was a waste of my time, and opportunity cost.

Hello, I am sorry, but this information is not correct. Our guide was at the location on time and he picked up another 6 customers from the same meeting point at the same time that had booked the same tour as you did. When you could not find you. He contacted me and I tried to call you, but your phone number was not working. He waited there for another 15 minutes, until 11am, but then when he could not find you he could not let other customers wait longer. Unfortunately, you have never tried to contact us that there is a problem with the pickup. Get Your Guide called me 1h after the scheduled pickup time that you are waiting for the guide. Unfortunately, it was too late to go back and pick you up. However, to show our goodwill, we told GetYourGuide to provide you with a full refund, which is not a standard as you were not at the pickup place at the scheduled time and it was impossible to contact you.

A absolute must do

We have experienced the on 1 hour long snowmobile ride in the wild (family of 2+2; children aged 5 and 8). We were fortunate enough to be guided by the owner himself. Such a wonderful man. Once he got to know that it is my son's birthday he offered us a mini-snowmobile ride free of charge. He has also showed us around the whole facility and took the time to talk to us and really spend the time with us. The ride was also great. It is really in the wild, not "around the block". The place, the people and the whole experience was just great. Would highly recommend.

Amazing run with nice and happy husky

We were in couple and we did the husky sledding experience. You can drive your own sledge and go inside the snow and wonderful landscape. Then you have a break in a typical kota with sausage and berry drink. The service is very nice, they pick up and drop off you in your accomodation. I loved this experience!

A perfect weekend in the cottage

We rented the cottage for the weekend with my friends. We were 20 and it was amazing. We had a lot of fun, the cottage is perfect, we have enjoyed the sauna, the hot tub, the nature... The place is really quite and it is so nice to be able to see the dogs. The owners are really nice, available and arranging. We would love to come again as soon as possible!

A lovely cottage near the nature!

We spent three marvelous days in Parpalandia with dogs and friends around us. The nature was beautiful -fresh air, large forests and nice paths to walk outside. The sauna was excellent and the host really one of the best.

Totally worth it

A dream came true ! This family sized company is super friendly and professional. The dogs are treated with love and care, you can see they are happy to run. The driver who picked us up was also very nice and gave us lots of informations about the area. Don’t choose one of the touristic companies in Rovaniemi, this is a safe pick ! Totally worth it, an unforgettable experience for the entire family

Great fun for all the family!

This activity was the highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi!
From pick-up at our hotel reception to the activities at Papalandia, everything was extremely well organised and handled with the utmost safety. All clothing and gear were provided. The husky safari was such a unique experience, and my three teens loved being able to spend some time with the huskies after the ride. The snowmobiling was quite different but also brilliant, really exhilarating! We all had a blast, and the team at Parpalandia could not have done more to make the day special for us. They were professional but also very friendly, helpful and patient. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I can give Parpalandia my highest recommendation. Worth every penny!
