My husband and I enjoyed an excellent tour of the Ranua Zoo. We got lucky and got a private tour. Our guide Tanja was terrific! We were picked up promptly and received an extremely informative introduction to Lapland and the zoo on the hour+ drive. Our guide Tanja was enthusiastic and informative throughout the multi-hour tour providing very interesting and relevant information about each animal, its habitat, and family life. She personalized the animals and their stories in a wonderful way. The Ranua zoo is beautifully laid out with wooden boardwalks in a gorgeous forest setting. Highly recommend!…
