Booked through Wild about Lapland and was not disappointed. Our pick up was on time in a private vehicle and our guide Ayda was amazing, explaining the itinerary and answering our questions prior to arriving at the farm. The farm is a traditional Sami farm with the owners greeting you before your sleigh ride with their amazing reindeers who have been trained for sometimes 4 winters, the route was idyllic and peaceful, truly was a magical experience. On return we were taken into one of the houses for a hot drink and snacks plus an overview of the farm and the opportunity to ask questions. The whole tour was excellent and a highlight of our Lapland adventure.

Well we were lucky to witness northern lights at the Misi River but I will not shy away to not only thank Mother Nature but also Wild About Lapland. They are punctual, gives importance to attention to details and ensures customer satisfaction is the upmost bar. We were taken to three different places in a well maintained van with Luka who was simply outstanding. He explained us about Northern lights, clicked pictures, explained us about Finland and it's great culture, Sami people and the list goes on. Kudos to him for making this a lifetime experience. Thanks team

We’ve spent such stunning days and moments thanks to guides Christoph and Andrea! First day we went to Korouoma Canyon located about an hour from Rovaniemi by car. A picturesque landscape replenished by many useful information and fun is always meaningful! The most adrenaline event was Aurora Borealis hunting! That amazing experience when you are full of expectations, waiting and going from one lake to another is describable. You will never see the sky so full of stars! I confess that there were lots of situations i thought that it’s hopeless but when suddenly the Northern Lights appeared in the sky❤️i have no words. Many thanks to Christoph, because this guy is really experienced! Another day we were in Husky farm and took really serious Husky racing. Andrea showed us how to ride Husky! Another amazing day! Thank you Lapland

We did both the reindeer and the northern lights ski tours. It was absolutely amazing, they are attentive, serious, keep the promise of very small groups. Our guides were Ada and Guille, they know what they do and are very attentive. If anyone needs the tour in Spanish, our guide Guille is from Spain, we just had an amazing time with him hunting northern lights and skiing, actually we were able to see an explosion of lights in the sky. Thumbs up for this company. Quality at the best!

Barbara was an amazing guide and made every effort to see that we viewed the northern lights from every possible angle. Took umpteen pictures. Gave us lots of information and left us with an unforgettable experience. She was superb. And thank you wild about Lapland.all your staff was superb. I did all my tours in this small agency which prefers groups of 5/6 people maximum. You are then looked after and the guides are friendly, polite and very helpful
In particular I did: snowmobile, Husky and Northern Lights
3 unforgettable tours and given that they cost the same as other agencies I highly recommend you book here

The team has put together a wonderful experience for anyone who are eager to live and breath in the wild. They are fully equipped with all the equipment for any of the activities.
I would highly recommend getting the 6 day package (we had the winter one) as that offers a wide variety in the activities that you would get to do in the wild! My personal favourites were:
Korouoma Canyon Waterfall - any beginner to avid hikers would love this place.
Husky farm and safari - the dogs were friendly, fast and furious on the track. We got to know a lot about them from the owners.
Ski trekking - first time skier but not on a ski slope. Despite that it is the most interesting way to learn how to ski. Ascending on hills was challenging but really fun.
Regardless of the packages, I'm sure any of the other activities will be just as much fun!

My husband and I had the best experience with Wild About Lapland tours especially with our lovely guide, Toma. He kept us entertained throughout and shared a lot about the Finnish culture and the Lights. Toma didn’t hesitate for a second even when we kept asking for pictures every time the lights changed. And what an amazing light show on our last night in Finland! In short, one of the best tour guides out there in Rovaniemi.

We arrived at the venue to hear that we could expect temperatures of -30... We were adequately dressed however I asked if I (mom)could take one of the snow suits that you can borrow with us just in case however the rest of the family felt ok and of course I was too so i did not use the suit just felt that as I had never encountered those temperatures ever before I thought it best to have extra warm clothing.. We headed out in the comfy mini bus, a short journey out the guide could see Aurora activity so pulled over and we got to see the Northern Lights for the first time and have pictures taken, we were over the moon delighted and relieved... The rest of the evening was great too with the teepee cosy fire, hot drinks, sausages and chocolate and chats about Finnish life then more driving to other locations to seek out the elusive lights again walking across frozen lakes. It was an evening we had never had before making special family memories. We felt very taken care of and would highly recommend using this company. Thank you very much to our guide.

We did Korouoma Canyon Wilderness Hike. It was a moderate hike. We are supposed to have a lunch time but we didn’t and there were few stops for appreciating the place and take some photos. Plus I received a hat with a veil to protect from the mosquitoes but it was not clean and had a terrible smell. So I didn’t use it. There was no waterfalls because this time of the year there is no water. It was a beautiful place because nature is always beautiful but nothing special. I don’t think I would do it again.
