A very lively exhibition about Finnish forests, woods and trees - and living of them and living in them. If you want to understand why Finns are what they are and how they became to be such then you should visit this museum.

It is worth to visit this museum especially in rainy day. Do try a buffet in the restaurant! It has very traditional and tasty food which is definitely worth a money.

Lusto is big, we spent 2 hours and that was not teally enough, but we got tired. Not all parts of exhibitions are translated to English, but most is, so it works.

Museums have not been favorite place, but Lusto is not a dusty museum. There you can see a part of Finland's history, but also something to do with the children and a very good lunch!

Our hotel owner in Savonlinna suggested we visit this museum and I have to admit that at first we didn't think it sounded that interesting. However, after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did!...More
