It's a short drive out of town or about a 45 minutes walk from the center. If you pay for the lift in the shop downstairs, the price will be deducted from your bill at the restaurant. The 360 degrees views are beautiful, especially if you choose a day with clear skies. The daily set menu is delicious and very... More

Been there during the summer and also winter. In both seasons, the tower provides spectacular view of the lakes, beautiful scenery. There is a cool souvenir shop, I think the only one in Kuopio. Went there also to the ski jumping cup. You have to walk up tho, but its a very nice walk!

The Puijo Tower is one of the must-see places of Kuopio. The rotating tower lets you have a view all over the beautiful city and it's just stunning on a nice, sunny day. I had dinner there and it was just beyond delicious. The prices are a bit high, but the experience beats it.

Again, after some times going to the tower, finally I went up to the top of the tower with some friends. We can see the whole Kuopio from the top, and surrounding islands. Unfortunately the sky was not really clear blue at that time, but i think it should have been better if it was.

Puijo tower is the place to see Kuopio and the surroundings. You can huge amount of water that is everywhere around Kuopio. In my opinion, everyone visiting Kuopio (or even passing by) should visit Puijo at least once in their lives to see the landscape around.

This is the place to visit when in Kuopio. The restaurant at the top serves top food. We had a 3 course lunch and it is certainly not "overpriced microwave cooking" but it beats all of Kuopio restaurants that we've tried. The lunch is served with very good service as well. I recommend that you spend a little extra and... More

If you book the table in advance to the Puijo Tower restaurant, the use of the elevator is free of charge. This is very useful tip to get easily to one of the best restaurants of the City of Kuopio. The food is excellent and made of local, fresh products. As a guest you can simply concentrate to enjoy the... More

It's pretty pleasant to go for a quick look. you are granted a 360 degree view of Kuopio and its surrounds. Very nice. There's a restaurant (we didn't go there) and a little cafe at the viewing tower. You can also walk around the trails though we didn't have much time for that. Take a cab up and walk down... More
