Götaplatsen has a beautiful statue of Poseidon in a fountain and the square around it is very nice, but Gothenburg has so many beautiful places to see that I have to give this an "average."

The place is beautiful itself with fine architecture in surrounding cultural buildings and statue of Poseidon in the middle. It also offers nice view downhill to the Avenyn.

Gotaplatsen is located is a nice central area close to a tram stop and many restaurants and cafes. The buildings in the area are beautiful and are nice to visit in the evening when they are lit up.

Finally, a reason to get off the tour bus. This is a nice public square that faces a busy boulevard. In its center is the statue of Poseidon, surrounded by the concert hall, a library, the museum of art and a theater.

It’s a nice square surrounded by a museum, a playhouse, a library. Has a nice statue of Poseidon in the middle, and some smaller Cafés a little down the road.
