I went to Liseberg as of 2019, November. This place doesn't exist anymore. Ice gallery. They said, they had it in previous years.

Well we were so excited to be going to the ice bar on our tour. but when the bus pulled up behind the main central station we were a bit disappointed. there was a £20 entry fee and two girls kitted you out with a thermal poncho and some very wet gloves to put on which were supposed to be attached to elastic on the cape (remember how we had our gloves on elastic at school!) The door was opened and we went in through a blast of cold air, there were so many people inside that you could hardly move and fight your way to the bar to get your free vodka and cranberry or lemon drink served inside a block of ice. My fear that the ice glass would stick to my lips was wasted as the inside of the ice cube moulds are coated with glycerine so that it doesn't burn the lips. The drink was OK, more cranberry than vodka, the Ice blocks were carved beautifully with carvings and pictures inside the ice, it is just a shame that there were so many people in there and that it wasn't 'time or crowd controlled'. Saying that, I would not have missed it for the world!
