I visited together with my four year old and two year old. They both enjoyed themselves very much and the live theatre was especially appreciated. The café is also very child friendly, and you can eat on the waterfront!

I was looking forward to going here so my expectations were quite high which led me to being disappointed at the building being so little compared to Junibacken in Stockholm. Of course, it did say it was just Alfons Åbergs house so if we focus on that, it was more than apt. It was fun that they have a great... More

Had pretty high expactations of this place, since it seems so nice from the outside, but got very disappointed! The entrance-fee is a complete rip-off, especially for adults, and so NOT worth it! I also think the place has rather little to do with Alfons (Alfie), and our son - aged 2,5, and well familiar with Alfons - asked "Where... More

Alfie Atkins is a fun character for boys and girls. If you are visiting Gothenburg with 4-5+ year old kids, do spare a couple of hours in the Alfie house. It offers two floors of playing space with climbing, slides, a small maze, play-shop and other Alfie-themed playground contraptions. The small theatre showed a magic/comedy show which our daughter enjoyed... More

Our grandchildren at age 6 & 3 enjoyed this. Lots of play equipment to climb on, and for pretend play. Not so interesting for anyone with older children.

The Alfons Åberg character is very well known in Sweden and abroad. This house located in the central part of Gothenburg is a great place for young children, approximately 2-6 year olds. There are lot's of things for them to do, including various kinds of mini performances. I went here with my grandchild who is 4 years old and she... More

I liked the concept and my kids loved playing here, but it is way to expensive and adults pay a fortune just to watch their children play. There were too many broken toys and it looked like a bomb had hit a toy store with toys strewn all over the floor.
