Interesting and varied exhibitions and not so big as to be overwhelming. The cafe is worth a detour on its own, good value fresh salad-buffet lunches - get there early, a lot of people come here regularly.

Good museum with free entrance and lokal exhibitions. Many toilets, a café and a nice shop. Central locations between the harbour and bus station.

One of the best museums in Sweden, not very large bur really good and a good place for the kids to play as well! Try the "äggost" in the restaurant, its highly recommended.

Lovely museum with varied exhibitions. Well laid out aesthetically, and good texts. Would be even better if English subtitles were available for all items.

This is the place for old Bohuslän stories of water, old souls and in particularly - viking fetiches to come to life. Old boats, swords or any other installation related to the west coast of Bohuslän lies here.
