We spent well over 4 hours at Innovatum today and it was a non-stop adventure for our little 2 and a half year-old. There are many different activity areas to suit the small toddlers and older kids. The theme is innovation and invention, so there is a lot of thought and effort put into each play area. A testament to this is the amount of parents you see engrossed in the various puzzels and attractions. The place was very clean and tidy with ample facilities.

A bonus was the restaurant / cafe. The food was good, better than what you usually get at these types of places (which is somewhere between average and poor).

We will go there again soon.

If you happen to be in West-Sweden on one of those rainy days (and unfortunately: it can happen even on summer vacation), Innovatum is one of the better options. Kids (ours are 5 and 9 years old) experience this as a large indoor playground. It has been set up with educational purposes, however all objects are easily accessible and great to play with. The kids will love it. Not hard to spend 3-5 hours.

Very nice and interactive museum, explaining the workings of all kinds from physics in a simple, fun way. The roomy restaurant was very nice, clean, light and airy with excellent food at very affordable prices. No wonder it was very popular among white collar workers from the neighbouring companies.

Nice selection of science experiments. Even Trollhättan related (famous Gotta Älf locks). Great to combine with visit to Saab Car Museum

Great for the kids, but not really for the adults. Have some nice and funny installations for the younger ones, often based around different types of tech and scientistic wonders.

The Place is ok , no more. Lots of education for too small Children. Staff not interested att all , standing talking in mobiles instead of helping Children. BUT worst of all SO HOT , my Children were totally dried out after 30 min. Its ok to pay for Children but why must parents and grandparents pay really expensive tickets.

A fun and interesting visit for a rainy day with kids. Mostly in Swedish, but enough for non Swedish speakers too. Some great novelty items in the gift shop, and a good eating area.

A varied mix of activities for kids that will fill half a day or so. One or two things were not working properly, but most were. Wouldn't bother with the combo ticket for the Saab museum unless you have special interest in them though. The 1km walk to the dam for the release at 3pm is well worth it though.
