I rarely write reviews but this place is worth it. I would never recommend you to visit such "great" place. The idea is very good but all experiment stuff and gadgets are old and need to be replacement or renovated. They boast having 4 floors but one floor is closed for restoration and it smells badly from this floor.
The website tells nothing abot the ongoing repairs. So for the price of 195 SEK (adult) and 155 SEK (child 3-15 years) you get the closed yard and 3 floors of old equipment. This place is NO for me.

This was a lot of fun for the whole family. We went here on a rainy day and the rain stoppet just in time for us to experience all the outside activities too. Lots to do for everyone and the children loved it. Plenty of parking nearby.

It's a really good option to go with kids but it's also really nice for adults. They have a lot of interesting experiments and it worth the visit

1.5 hour from the STO city center (sue google maps to optimize) - so you need one full day for this. The museum is nice and kids would love it but:
1) Only do it if you are with kids
2) You already visited main STO attractions and you have a day to spare
3) The museum is not very unique (few days before we visited Experementarium in Copenhagen which is much more impressive) - so if you already visited many similar museums in other countries it will not impress you (kids will still love it)

Went there with 3 children - 2 teenagers and a 10-year old. Most experiments are more suited for younger children (~10 years), but we all liked it anyway.
It's nice to have a possibility of heating your own meal and eating at a spaceous table. Nevertheless, we are at the restaurant - the food was good, but it was very crowdy and noisy.

We spent the day here with our 11 year old and there was so much that kept all of us entertained. Great hands on science and fun, brilliant outdoor space.

I have been there many times for a work group lunch. The good part is that is buffet so you can eat as much as you want. The food is ok, nothing special.

While a bit pricey (and there were only 3 of us) there was a lot to do! The garden/exhibits outside were great and there were so many walking paths and little side trails to explore.
Bring a change of clothes as there are many water activities.
We also had a really good lunch in the cafe in the second floor.

Tech-museum for kids, explaining and experimenting with light, water, electricity and science laws. But on quite a few stations there is no written information on what the experiment should prove or what you see. Quite expensive entrance fee too, I'm afraid.

Tom's Tit experiment offers something fun for all ages. I've been there with kids between 2 and 5 years old who all had a lot of fun playing with the different stations that are set up there. There are activities, puzzles, experiments and information that will keep the adults interested too. 4 stories inside and a large outdoor area (only open in the summer season) should be sufficient for everyone to find some point of interest and fun.

If we only know English, is it easy to understand what to do there?
Written February 24, 2017
Sorry for the late answer.
Yes, maybe you won't understand about what is one or another activity, but overall it's no problem understanding only English there. Me and my girlfriend don't understand Swedish too.
In some way it's even more interesting because you find yourself venturesome trying to understand how the thing works or how to make it work.
