A great museum in Norrkoping. The permament collection contains a suprprisinsg number of Picasso and a good sample of swedish art during the past 150 year. We were lucky to see the exhibition of the works of Thea Klenn: amazing!

Don't let yourself be fooled by the lack of signs in the city -this is a pearl, a hidden treasure. For those who seak a high quality artsceen or a inspiering atmosphere for contemplation. Few visitors during weekdays gives you space but wednesday nights may surprice you with diffetent programmes such as conserts or public lectures. Waiting for next years events...

I'm not normally a big fan of modern art, but this place is still worth a visit, especially since it's free.

The museum has two parts. First a collection of painting from the early 20th century. Second a space for exhibition. The collection of painting is of high quality. There are some very interesting pieces of high quality that are really worth seeing. The entrance is free.

The answer is yes, especially if you prefer Swedish modernism. At the time of the visit, re-hanging was in progress in several halls, which limited the range.Despite everything worth a visit, nice museum shop and warm reception.

There was an exhibition of Greta Knutson's work. She was a Swedish artist who moved to Paris and joined the resistance, helping to save the lives of many people. In the 1970s she moved back to Paris and ended her life. Her work is lovely, particularly her later work done in the 70s, which focuses on death and mortality.
The museum was really nice. Spacious and interesting with a few levels to explore.

A lovely visit to the collection at the Norrköping Art Museum. Admission is free and my visit was a great way to see a different side of Sweden and the country's art history. I enjoyed it.
Small lockers are available at the basement level and all you need is a 5 or 10 kr coin which you will be given back afterwards. Allows you to relax a bit more.
