My three travel companions and I completely enjoyed this cooking experience/class from beginning to end. It was educational, fun, and delicious! The idea of starting in the town market and gathering ingredients for the cooking is brilliant. We also tasted fresh Serbian borek, the best I've had. In an unhurried way, we were all involved in making every dish and didn't have to worry about writing anything down, as the recipes were emailed to us later. It was all very relaxed but professional, organized, and we felt completely at home. The price and amount of time are perfect. Bravo, Vlad!

We had a wonderful evening with Vladimir and Ana. Although we were a bit late, they were super relaxed and adapted to our pace. The location is extremely beautiful: the cottage is in the garden and is a house extension and is very cute decorated, in the garden there are many benches and many plants. We didn't want to leave, we didn't lack anything! It was a great evening and we had a lot of fun.

We very much enjoyed this experience. Interesting to go around a local market and see the various produce on offer and taking some home to eat later.
A quick stop off at a local bakery for some great savoury pastry.
the cooking course itself was perfect for all levels. one of the party is a complete novice but could still get involved and two of us who cook a lot also really enjoyed it.
Lots of useful tips for the area and the city in general.
plus very easy to get here from the city centre where we were staying.
a great way to spend a few hours. highly recommend it.

Our group really enjoyed this class. The experience started with a trip to the market in Zemun, which is a neighborhood near Belgrade. From there we proceeded to a traditional backyard kitchen, where we learned how to make salad, cevapcici, plum dumplings, and mushrooms. The food was delicious and Vladimir was very helpful and willing to work with us on special menu requests. I would recommend this for tourists who are interested in getting off the beaten Belgrade tourist path as well as expats who would like to know more about cooking with local ingredients.

Me and my brother visited Belgrade on November 2016.
We looked for special activities, besides the obvious site seeing, and found some recommendations for a cooking class with local authentic recipes.
Vlad was an amazing host. Took us to a stroll in the local market, explained about local food, culture and a brief history of Zemun and region in general.
We stepped into a local delicatessen and tasted some local specialty.

Then, we walked up the hill and saw Belgrade's view, while Vlad pointed some points of interest and other useful tips.
Then we were invited inside, to start the activity.
The atmosphere was really special, warm and welcoming.

I highly recommend this cooking class as a special and unique glimpse into Belgrade's culture and culinary.

You won't regret it.

Last month I found something amazing in Belgrade. By chance I discovered this cooking school. I went to cooking classes when I was in Thailand but this was completely different experience. We first went to local market and got the ingrediences and then went on cooking some trafitional Serbian dishes. Me and my husband always like to discover amazing food and this whole experience of going to market and cooking was amazing and unique. If you like to try and eat Serbian food, why not learn how to make it yourself and show off to your friends at home?
If you decide to do that, this is a place to do it.

Few days ago I visited great city of Belgrade. I wanted to do something authentic and I red some great reviews about this cooking experience. The host Vladimir was very friendly and cooperative from the beginning. He came to pick me up and he briefly took me through the history of his part of the city ( Zemun). Together we went to the local opened market to buy all ingredients needed for food preparation. It was very authentic and what I liked the most is that I've got the opportunity to try local food and to hand pick all the ingredients for the lunch. Later we went to his lovely family house. He offered us with a local drink called RAKIA and shortly after we started to prepare all agreed dishes. While doing that he talked us through Serbian gastronomy and the entire experience was hands on. We were involved in every step of preparation and later on we had a chance to taste what we prepared. Vladimir is very knowledgable about Serbian dishes, he made us feel very welcomed and involved in the entire process. I would strongly recommend this experience as a great idea to spend the afternoon in Belgrade and to do something different. Well done Vladimir and keep up the good work and your friendly approach and personality! Enjoy wonderful Belgrade and your cooking experience.

That was amazing experience with food, traditions and people! I'm visited Beograd often, but this was one of my greatest spending ever. Amazing idea, the food was great, we understood so much for Serbian cuisine, different aspects of culinary culture, and hope, we found new friends. Recommend to everyone!

Our morning started with meeting our charming host Vlad, in front of the
Madlenianum theater of Zemun. We visited the local market and discovered and tasted some typical foods in Serbia like the Burik, rakia and fruits.
Afterwards, Vlad took us to his place, while he told us a little bit history of the area and pointed some interesting places nearby.
The cooking with Vlad was real fun. We cooked inside the kitchen and thanks to the great weather, we could eat out in his lovely garden.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and warm, accompanied by music and a cute little dog :)
