Warming tour out in the cold

I book a Walking tour whenever I visit a new city and I always find them extremely interesting. Stockholm was no exception!Ebba was a superb guide, introducing us to the Swedish and Scandinavian history.
Notwithstanding a freezing cold, we followed her around Gamla Stan enthusiastically!
She was truly lovely and competent.
Well done, Ebba!

Fantastic walking tour of Gamla Stan, 100% recommended

We were given a free public walking tour around the old town (Gamla Stan) of Stockholm by our wonderful guide Priyanka. She was a fact machine! Every part of the old town was covered in rich detail and with good humour and authenticity. Priyanka clearly had a passion for both life in Stockholm and for the history of Gamla Stan, and made everyone feel welcome. It's a shame she was only doing one tour that day! FWT Stockholm was also very inclusive and welcoming and would 100% recommend for anyone with a few hours in Stockholm to get a good grasp of the city, it's past and it's present.

Excellent and informative tour at a good pace

We had an excellent tour with Victoria on Monday 03rd October. We were initially a bit worried that the group was very large, but Victoria managed the group extremely well and was very clear in all her explanations about the various sites in Gamla Stan.

Thoroughly recommend!

Company confirmed booking but did not turn up

Free or not, every minute in a foreign city is precious and expensive and it is the choice of this company to provide tours with payment as tips.
I made a booking for myself and my children which was confirmed by email but the guide did not turn up. We wasted time and money getting there, and had forgone another touring opportunity. The company later explained it was because I made a “multiple booking”. There was no explanation on the website to say a booking for a family was considered a multiple booking!! The website allowed the booking and I received confirmation with instructions where and when to arrive - if the guide wasn’t coming then the confirmation should not have been given and I should have been notified. The website should not have allowed the booking for more than 1 person.
What you pay is what you get!

Vincent, excellent tour guide

Vincent was an excellent guide. Knowledgable, interesting and very witty. Our tour of the old town lasted almost two hours and gave us a great insight into the fascinating city. Thank you Vincent. Go raibh maith agat.

Recommended tour with an interactive guide

A fantastic walking tour from Malin, a Stockholm local. The history of the city was clearly explained with so many interesting and fun facts along the way. All of the stops were interesting and Malin was open to questions about life in the city, tips to get around and any questions we had. Overall a highly recommended tour!

The tour lasts about two hours and it’s a great experience if you want to know more about Stockholm, Gamla Stan and Swedish history. We did the tour with Cim, she’s a brilliant guide as she provides the tourists with useful information but she also gives you fun facts, so it’s not a boring tour at all!
I also think it is easy to understand for people who don’t have any background knowledge in Swedish history, since everything is explained very clearly.
She is happy to answer to questions and to talk about Sweden (I talked to her a bit after the tour and she was super nice)!

Very interesting and enjoyable

We had Malin (I hope the spelling is correc) leading our tour today. She's very nice, competent and fun. The tour is very interesting and enjoyable. It took almost 2 hours and I think everybody visiting Stockholm for the first time should attend it.
Although it is not mandatory, I think you should pay at the end. Just check the cost of similar paid tours to understand the value of what this tour offers.
Very much recommended.

Malin is a great guide

We met Malin at the meeting point and soon realised that the tour would be fun. Her personality kept the whole group engaged even when we dispersed a bit between stops. She is knowledgeable and answered all questions we threw at her

Great insight into the city, super fun guide!

We joined the walk through the Old Town (Gamla Stan). Our guide, Alex, was really passionate and enthusiastic. We enjoyed learning about the cities past and appreciated the locations we went to. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who's visiting or would want to learn about the city.
