Easy trails all around the lake. Easy to get to from public transit or by bicycle. Take a thermos of coffee like any true Swede, lace up your walking shoes and enjoy the serenity.

If you want to spend a couple of hours here you can walk around the lake. The crown prinsess and her family lives here. It is a lovely which also contains the Butterfly museum.

It is quite big park. As it seemed also popular in Stockholm area as during a day and cold weather there were many people. I think 1 hour is not enough to see everything.

We made a visit in January to the park. It is must for a history freak because there are so many things to see, especially some unfinished projects of King Gustaf III.

This is a brilliant park with long trails through the forest and around the lake. In autumn and spring its especially gorgeous when all the leaves are changing colour.
