We had a very enjoyable 6 hour tour of Stockholm with Thomas. He was an excellent guide, so informative, interesting and fun to be with. The content of the tour was wonderful and enabled us to get a very good overview of the city in a short space of time. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to tour Stockholm.

Thomas was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed our trip with him. He planned a great route to see the key sights of Stockholm and he was knowledgeable and interesting and gave us just the right amount of detail. He was flexible and listened to what we wanted to do. His car was spotless and perfect for 6 adults. I would definitely recommend Thomas

Thomas picked my eighteen-year-old son and I up at our hotel on the first day of a long trip with lots of sightseeing, a little jet lag, and only one day to see Stockholm. He brought us to all the hotspots as wells some unique off-the-beaten-path places that vivified not only the city itself, but what it is like to live there, which to me separates a good tour from a great one. He also did something that I appreciated in real time and became grateful for in hindsight: he contextualized Sweden within Scandinavia. I was not aware of the complex, power-shifting history that Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, these now friendly neighbors, share. Having found Thomas on a Google search, and because he was responsive and professional and because I can be a bit lazy, I didn't read reviews, so I am not sure whether they address his ability to communicate with kids. He was wonderful with my teenage son, who is very bright, not always easy to engage, and who woke up about four hours earlier than usual for the tour. While what you see and learn is first and foremost, Thomas is a lovely, likable person, enhancing an already top-notch, informative, and informed experience. Book him STAT!

Thomas was extremely easy to deal with as we only booked this tour a few weeks out from our arrival. He was very good at communicating all essential points of our tour. Thomas picked us up from the ship for a half day tour that included a brief stop to drop off our bags at the hotel and ended at Vasa museum where he got us past the line and briefed us before we went on our own. In between we got a fine tour of the city customized for our needs. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His Mercedes van was very clean and he is a good driver. I would not hesitate to book him again on our next visit to Stockholm.

Thomas was absolutely wonderful. He picked us up at the airport, gave us fabulous tours of the city of Stockholm and a personal tour of the Vasa Museum, and picked us up for our return to the airport later in the week. We found him to be very personable, interesting, engaging, extremely informative and definitely reliable. I would highly recommend Thomas to anyone visiting Stockholm.

We booked a private 5 hour tour of Stockholm for 2 couples as part of our Baltic Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette. We did this as we wanted to see as much of this beautiful city in the short time available and avoid the crowds at the various sights. My first contact was with Thomas the General Manager of Stockholm Guiding . He could not be more helpful in coordinating the days activities with us. Our driver /Guide Tjalle met us at the cruise terminal on time and with a van that was a perfect size for our group. He was an exceptional guide and showed us as much of the beautiful city as he could in the short time frame. We skipped the line in the Vasa museum which is a must do in Stockholm and had our own personal time in the Ice Bar without any of the cruise ship bus guests which was so nice. There was a slight payment issue with the Ice Bar but Tjalle ensured we entered and enjoyed our experience whilst he sorted it out. The end result the Ice Bar staff member was found to be in error and apologized to us for the issue. Well done to the prompt attention by Tjalle. Tjalle was very precise and considerate with our timings and meeting points. We had a wonderful day and I can recommend Stockholm Guiding if you are looking at doing a private tour in Stockholm. A little more expensive than doing the shore excursion from the cruise but well worth it for all the additional things we saw on the day

Spent a fabulous day touring Stockholm with Thomas. He was knowledge, flexible and personable. He even helped us with dinner reservations that I was having trouble making. I highly recommend using his services.

We enjoyed a great day with Thomas. He picked 6 of us at the cruise port. He was clearly visible holding a sign with our name.
Very easy to communicate with prior to tour.
We were able to see much more than our friends did on their "big bus" tours.
We would highly recommend.

If you are wanting a wonderful, educational and fun tour--this is the one for you. Four of us (sister, mother, father and myself) recently had three days with Thomas Andersson. I can say it was outstanding! There are several things to mention. First, my mother was in a wheelchair and Thomas was so supportive and understanding. He helped push the chair up hills and over cobblestones. He went above and beyond for us. My parents are in their 80s and he was so kind and respectful to their needs. Second, we got to go to places that regular tourists would not know about nor ever visit--special spots that really highlighted the local culture. And, when we had unique requests (outside of the tour schedule) such as a stop at special shirt store and Starbucks to buy a coffee mug, he was very accommodating. Perhaps the most important thing to note is that Thomas is very knowledgeable on art, history, architecture, politics, culture, etc. He answered all our questions with clarity and ease. He is a delight to be with and made our trip very special.

If you only have a short time to see such a great city as Stockholm this is a great way to do it. Thomas spent the day showing us his city and taking us to the highlights. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining along the way.

Trip Adisor will not let me put an email address, which answers your question!!! Put these three words together: Stockholm guiding. com
You may get an auto reply saying your email was received, but Thomas will follow up shortly thereafter from that same email address. One time it took a couple of days because he was traveling. If that happens email him again. Thomas is a great guide, and we had a wonderful experience.

We are arriving in Stockholm off a cruise...September 3...looking for a car tour with limited stops...disembark around 9 a.m...need to be at the airport around 1:30 p.m. (4:30 flt. to U.S.)...
pick us up at the pier and take us to the airport later?...wife has had recent knee surgery so limited walking is important...thank you.

We were very happy with our guide who is the owner. He drives a Mercedes van which can seat 8. I am sure he could take you touring and then to the airport. I can't remember his name right now, but can ask my friend who was in charge of booking him.

We are a group of 10 older folks. What is the largest group you can accommodate for a veichle tour or should we consider breaking into 2 groups? While all are mobile the walking speed is diminished. We will be in Stockholm all day August 6. Thank you for any info in advance.
