About
Since 1995 Fargfabriken has been producing a rich variety of exhibitions and diverse activities in the fields of art, architecture and urban development. Furthermore Fargfabriken is a meeting place for lively debates, discussions, seminars and serves as a node for many exciting projects that occur off-site.
Fargfabriken's work is experimental and interdisciplinary. We strive to create and provide the conditions for new thinking, innovative ideas and unusual exhibition projects. These provide our audiences with memorable experiences and often start ongoing debates. Fargfabriken makes room for the unexpected by bringing together different perspectives and interests from the areas of art, architecture and social science.
Producing our exhibitions and projects require us to create points of contact and meetings with other groups and creative individuals including artists, architects and representatives of the business community and public sector alike. This diverse network comes together for interesting meetings in a variety of constellations, providing all of us with new experiences, thoughts and ideas - and often unexpected results.
Over the years Fargfabriken's projects have expanded upon what is considered possible. We have developed the experience needed to lead creative processes towards concrete results - experience that we are happy to share.

Färgfabrik, a hiden gem when it comes to places to eat in Stockholm. Tucked away in an old scruffy industrial area, just opposite Hornstull, Lövholmen (Trekanten). Serving very good tasting lunches at a resonable prices. So if you are in the neigburhood - go there. If you are not in the neigburhood - take your self there!

You need to take a tram (One stop) to get here and a three minute walk - a nice secluded space with interesting contemporary shows - please check the dates as it will be closed for Summer.

Old paint factory converted to a lively arts scene. A bit "Berlin feeling" amidst rough former factory buildings. Interesting exhibitions often take place here. Good, mostly vegetarian, restaurant.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and no one was at the exhibits. Only two couple/groups were at the cafe downstairs. This museum was also a trek on the t-bana subway system. The exhibits were underwhelming and we regretted the time spent coming out here. To us, admission was not worth it for a few photographs. Recommend going to Fotografiska but unsure about Fargfabriken.

I was here for a day at a private meeting held at this venue, but had the opportunity to quickly tour the gallery. It's simply incredible - spacious and light. The current exhibition is by Marianne Lindberg De Geer and it's quite spectacular. This is an exceptional place, a little off the beaten track, well worth a visit. There is a nice cafe too.
