We did a 75 minute chase around the main highlights visiting 6 stations. Cost was Skr45 per adult. The Art is truly amazing and puts most other metro systems to shame. It was impeccably clean. We did the following route - start at T-Centralen then get the red line north and get off at Stadion and then Tekniska Hogskolan. Then return to T-Centralan and get the blue line (west bound) to Radhuset and then further west to Solna Centrum. Then return east to the end of the line at Kungstradgarden. My personal highlight of the trip to Stockholm and thoroughly recommended

We could not find a tour in corona times but it is easy to discover the art in the stations by yourself, even if you have little time. You can buy a 75 minute ticket and explore Kungsträdgarden (fantastic "excavation"), go one station to T Centralen, then take the line to Stadion and Techniska Högskolan. You can visit the four within the 75 mins as trains are running regularly. Just hop on hop off, it's fun and you only need one ticket for 37 SEK.

Had a guided tour of three subway stations in Stockholm. It is free. All you need is a ticket to enter the station. Just walk in and tour runs only on certain days. The art work is amazing. Each station has a different theme. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I love the tour and specially the tour guide lady. But I would have liked to be a little longer. We only visited 3 stations.

Stockholm’s metro system has been called the world’s longest art gallery due to the artwork at 94 of the 100 metro systems. You can get an introduction to the artwork through the free 1-hour guided tours called Art Walks by the Stockholm metro system. You do need to buy a metro ticket but the tour is free. From June to August, there are guided Art Walks in English every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, starting at 3 pm from the SL Customer Centre, at T-Centralen Metro station (entrance from Sergels Torg). Tour is less frequent after August. See their website for more information.
