This is a small argricultural community out on Djurgarden. Its organic and has beautiful surroundings and gardens, in summer it explodes in flowers and people lying contemplating life under the apple trees. Its café/restaurant is so good. The food is delicious and of course quite green and follows the seasons. There is a lovely little gift shop with books, honey,... More

Beautiful in late spring and in the summer, cozy in the autumn and winter. A fantastic destination for relaxed fika or lunch in the beautiful Djurgården. Be prepared to walk a bit to get here, pick a day with pleasant weather. This is where I take everyone who visits Stockholm if we have a full day to spend, a perfect... More

If you like flowers and fresh vegetables and locally produced products you will love Rosendals trädgård. It is a garden in the city, an oasis close to the busy streets. It is a relaxing place with delicious locally produced food. Good for fika or for lunch.

Love to go there, place for kids to play and seek and hide, the restaurant was really good during summer, but recently its been quite sloppy, menu looks good on paper, but that is it. Besides, it's ok and fun to go there to relax

I have been to Rosendal gardens a few times on different trips in different seasons. It is always a pleasure to walk around and than have a lovely fika. This time we had reservations for a special Christmas dinner that was so gorgeous and delicious, all I can say is, if you are in Stockholm in December, check the website, and... I ended up strolling around this garden for a few hours after unfortunately finding out that the "official" Djurgarden is quite expensive to enter. The trip was not wasted however as Rosendals garden was a great place to walk around; it can be described as the Central Park of Stockholm. In warmer weather, it would be a great place to... More

Rosendals Trädgård is one of Stockholm’s true gems! The garden café is located in a fantastic setting on Djurgården island, and offers salads, soups, sandwiches and pastries made in the bakery next door, where we actually spent most of our time tasting and trying to find out what not to buy! The café uses organic and biodynamic ingredients, a lot... More

We visited on the opening night and it was very busy. Its mostly food, drink and seems to be a sociable event. The place itself was stunning with candles lighting every path into the gardens. There was a lovely festive atmosphere with lots of fire pits. We took the ferry but it was quite a long walk in the dark... More

After a slow walk in Djurgården, this is the place to stop and have a fika! A bit crowded on weekends, but non the less a great place to spend some time and enjoy the place. Even open during winter season :)

Rosendal Gardens was a really pretty walk. I went midmorning and strolled through the flower and herb gardens while enjoying and excellent coffee from the cafe onsite. I went in the off season so not all of the flowers were in full bloom but it was still a nice walk
