The Original Stockholm Ghost Walk and Historical Tour

459 reviews
If you think you've seen it all and heard it all in Stockholm, think again. This guided walking tour sheds new light (and a little darkness) on Stockholm's oldest neighborhood. As you follow the lantern light of your guide through the cobblestoned streets and alleyways, hear tales of ghosts, murder, and horror while getting a deeper insight into the history of Sweden's capital.

Even if it's big - it's not that great. In fact, we had a better day in Gothenburg and Liseberg. But was beacuase we had children among us. Gröna Lund is mor for couples and teenagers. They have a lot of restaurants that sells wine and beer and that tells it all. A concert nearly every night with big artist from around the world, but the concert stops a lot of attractions and it's very very crowdy so a big advice is the skip those days. A lot of queuing to the attractions and they don't have express passes (like Universal, Disney and even Liseberg) so come very early and leave early. Or go to Gothenburg if you have children under 13

It has a lot of attractions and if you are lucky you will not have to queu for so long. It also has some restaurants and terraces where you can rest and charge your batteries. It's really worth visiting the park and have a fun day!

We "stormed" Grona Lund a week to Halloween and the place was aptly decorated for the season. The rides were fun. The weather was cold. The food was good. The energy was infectious. I haven't felt like a kid in a while and so this was fun to do with other friends especially and of course, our little one. There were rides for little children (with some parental assistance of course). Overall, I'd go again.

We stopped here the first day we were in Stockholm, which also happened to be the second-to-last day of their regular season. We really enjoyed our time here. My boys (ages 7 and 8) talked about the park for the rest of our trip. There was plenty to do, especially for younger kids, clean restrooms, and food was a reasonable price for an amusement park. We didn't do any of the carnival games, so I can't speak to those, but we enjoyed everything else. Little tip: if the line is long, use the self-ticket kiosks. I was able to get all of our entrance tickets, plus ride ticket packages, all without having to wait in line!

Visited the park recently whilst on half term for a family break in Stockholm. We went passed the park many times on the ferry, so thought we should visit. Our 6 year old loves rides and this park left her very happy - she went on the eclipse, 'wild mouse' and the red hanging rollercoaster (can't recall the name). What we liked was that everything was in a small, compact area so no need to walk for miles (as you do at parks like Legoland and Chessington back home). Food options seemed to be better than UK offers - although we only had snacks of popcorn and cotton candy. Highlights? Hallowe'en theme was excellent - from pumpkin displays, actors/performers dressed up and adding theatre e.g. fire eating - something for small kids as well as bigger ones. Queue time was clearly signed and not bad (many 20-30 mins) I've given it 4/5 vs 5/5/ just because it is quite expensive - you pay for entry and also tickets for rides. Good for a holiday treat, but not all the time! You likely get better value for money if you plan on having the day there and the 'all day pass' but was too cold to do that!!
