Did this as part of the Under The Bridges Tour

It's not all 'amazing' but well worth the 2hr tour and gives a very good overview of the waterways and canels close to the city centre. Plenty of good photo opportunities.

With water said to be clean enough to drink from (though I personally wouldn't test that theory) the canals are a great little part of the city that really helps you see the makeup of Stockholm.

I enjoyed the Stockholm skyline from the boat. It was great weather and there were photo opportunities at every turn. Narration by the guide was low-key/

A magical tour on water. You can see wonderful views from a ferry. A great way to relax in Stockholm. You can use tram and ferry by single ticket. Seats are very comfortable. Snacks and beer are also available on board.

If you want to have a panoramic view over Stockholm - take one of the boat trips around the islands of Stockholm. There are even trips around the archipelago. You can learn so many interesting tings about the city, its history and emblematic spots from this trips

A great way to see many of the sites and islands of Stockholm. It is very relaxing. This is the best and in some cases the only way to really see Stockholm. This can be combined with a bus tour as well.

This was our first visit to this beautiful city and we used the hop on hop off boat to sail through the canals and get a completely different perspective. Definitely worth doing.

I love the water, so being in a city like Stockholm I'm constantly strategizing how to spend more time by the water! Plan your Stockholm Card time well - you can pack in a day of museums and then have an hour or two canal tour to end your time well after most spots have closed. Enjoy a drink by... More

We booked the tour because we wanted to find out more about the city, having visited Stockholm for the first time. The boat was quite full with probably 60 - 70 people on board. We did learn a lot about the city, its population, culture and history but it was a long trip and some of the explanations and stories... More

Staying in Norrmalm

Neighborhood Profile
Norrmalm
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.
