The low end of everything - shops, food, and budget travelers. Dont waste you're time. Instead go to the Ostermalm Saluhall area near Sturplan and Nybrogatan. You'll find the good food, shops, and its not as crowded.

It's fun to walk down this crowded street to see hoards of local people (and some tourists too) doing their shopping door to door or gathering around to see street performers.

Nice place to walk, for shopping or going to the old town. It leads also to the Parliament building. Do not miss the "Homeless Fox" sculpture of Laura Ford, right at the corner with Stromgatan!
