We stayed at the Pop House Hotel which is located on Djurgarden. We walked through the gardens and along the boat docks. We had no problems getting to and from, we used the Tram and there is a boat that connects Djurgarden to the Old Town that we used daily. There are many things to do and see.

It's a nice place for a stroll. Adults can enjoy a good time while the kids go have fun on the rides. Overall, a great place for a family picnic.

Staying in Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn

Neighborhood Profile
Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn
The island of Djurgården and its northern mainland extension, Djurgårdsbrunn, impress with a mix of nature and an abundance of museums, while being located in walking distance to Stockholm’s city center. Djurgården not only invites visitors to take endless walks through a beautiful park landscape without having to leave the city, but also offers an incredible range of entertainment facilities, such as an open air museum which specializes in the Swedish way of life pre-industrialization, the renowned Vasa Museum with its legendary sailing ship, and Sweden’s most famous amusement park Gröna Lund, which is more than a 100 years old.
