If you want to see where the upperclass or rich people live in Stockholm you can visit Ostermalm. But this should not be a priority of your visit in Stockholm

This road takes you from "Kungsträdgården" the royal garden to the island of Djurgården and does'nt have much exept a nice view over the water and it is a nice walk and a lot of boats to pass on the way. First you will see...More

It's maybe worthwhile to make small detour through Ostermalm while walking from Djurgården back to the city center. Not many shops or cafes, but plenty of wealth around you. If number of Porsches and Maseratis is any meter, this must be one of the places...More

Ostermalm and in particular the stretch of land that runs along the harbor is probably the highest priced real estate in Stockholm. The magnificient buildings one after the other stretch the entire lenght of the Strandvagen. The inner harbor where many boats, ferries and tours...More

This district calls for strolling. Beautiful promenade, green parks, elegant architecture, exquisite arts, bloody good restaurants, perfect shopping… A secret tip: if you are interested in antique, particularly in wood carved furniture, do try visiting Storken pharmacy – it’s simply unique.

This is Stockholm posh area. Here you will find the latest fashion on the rich people, acters, singers, lawyers etc. Plenty of different restaurants and bars. More pricy here than other parts of Stockholm.

We spent a cold but sunny day walking around this lovely part of Stockholm. Plenty of old historical buildings to admire along with some unusual fountains and monuments with wide open spaces - and of course some high end stores.

This is a good place to have you exercises, whether its brisk walking or jogging provided you can stand the cold winter, especially when the wing is blowing.

This is a tree lined walkway through a wealthy part of town. Maybe a nice walk for dog's but not a peaceful park to sit and relax. The traffic is buzzing by on both sides of the walkway and it is very loud. There are...More

Although this is a posh area of Stockholm I appreciate it mostly for its old well preserved buildings and open boulevards. It's a nice area just to stroll around and absorb the history. And thanks to its traffic management the streets are not very busy....More

With its high-end shopping facilities and
Michelin-starred restaurants, Östermalm is definitely

find Stockholm’s most majestic residential buildings,
a beautiful market hall from 1888 displaying gourmet
foods from around the world and the Swedish Royal
