I booked a tour, they canceled at the last minute. No problem, things happen. I rebooked for the next day. A loved one passed away unexpectedly, and I could not attend that tour, which I informed them in advance. They kept the money, saying that my backing out cost them and it was the cost of doing business. I understand the logic in theory, but the double standard gets me. At least my husband and I had something to laugh about in this dark time, but we're out the money, and I no longer desire to do business with them.
