Since the end of the 90´s Open Top Tours have run sightseeing tours with the characteristic double decked busses with open roofs. The busses have always been in use for so called Hop-on Hop-off tours where you choose where you like to get on and off to visit the different sights at your own pace.

We had to wait for this bus so many times. I mean really wait. The earphones were uncomfortable, and the information somewhat useless. I would not recommend it. Save the money and take a nice boat ride instead. I also did not like the ticket hawkers at the stops. The boat part of the tours was rather nice, but the... More

I was disappointed by my experience with this Hop on and Hop off Bus tour. There are two operators in Stockholm one is the Red one that you see in a number of cities around the world and the green one which is this one. I bought our ticket from the hotel where I was staying. From all the marketing... More

Bought the Stockholm pass for 3 days which was great value for money, and as part of that we had unlimited use of the hop on hop off buses and boats. Waited half an hour for a bus near T Centralen, very busy but managed to get a seat. the roof was on and it was a hot day! The... More

My husband and I were very disappointed with this hop on hop off service. We got the 2-day pass which includes hop on hop off by boat and by bus. The boat service was good but the bus service was so unreliable. We had to wait for almost an hour between stops. And after one of these long waits, our... More

At a couple of stops we saw at least 3 Red Stockholm buses, rival company, and no City Sightseeing buses in 20 minutes. Other people had also been waiting longer, so we gave up and walked. We did use a boat which was fine and seems more regular. If you want a tourist tour better use Panorama Bus when you... More

These were good, but I thought there should have been more frequent buses and more of them. Often it was standing room only which was no use to see the sights. The boats were better and more frequent.

We bought a three day ticket, to include the boat so we were able to go everywhere we wanted very easily. Buses run every 15 minutes so no waiting around. Ticket also gives discounts or free entry to certain attractions so good value for money.

This costs about $30 a person. Boat goes from one ferry terminal to another. Has a rather uninformative pre-recorded tour that you listen to through cheap earphones. Crew--one driver and one money collector are rude and dismissive. The same tour can be had for a few dollars on the Stockholm public transit system, which runs ferries all over the city... More

We are staying for a month, our usual practice is to take a general tour to get a feel for the area. Bought the 3 day package, all transport was supposedly included, we did the city tour on the bus never got off had to play seat swap game to find 2 adjacent seats with working plugs. It was called... Hello and thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about your experience. We have had problems with the plugs for the headphones, I talked to the staff and they say that they are changing them often since the plugs tends to break. I hope you had a great time in Stockholm!
