Be sure to visit this slightly out of the way terrace which is wide and has great views towards City Hall. It's a very sunny and peaceful place with great views of the sunset. Liked it so much we went twice!

There are actually 3 statues of Evert Taube in Stockholm. The one pictured is down by the quayside facing the city hall and it's obvious from looking at it that Taube was a guitarist and singer. The statue is based on a photograph of him...More

5/5 might be overselling it but it’s a nice, characterful statue in a great location, his open arm seeming to direct you to the view of Stockholm behind him, and with no real reason to mark it down. Is the statue itself worth making a...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
