We had heard of this Abbey and decided to go and have a look, we should have read the web page fully first.
Parking is in the streets across the dual carriageway, you take your life in your hands crossing this road. The abbey is set in farm land and you can't get to it. You can see part of it from a field away.
There is a walk around the fields but signage is badly damaged and unclear.

We were walking the Manor Way and came upon the ruins of the abbey, there does not look like there is much of it left, we hadn't made an intended visit to the abbey but it is beautiful all the same.

I was driving through the area and wanted to take a look at the abbey. There is a busy dual carriageway with no parking. The toad down to the abbey is marked as strictly private. Having eventually found somewhere to park I headed off down the footpath towards the abbey. As the building and ruins come into view the footpath turns left heading away from where you want to go. I did wander into the field adjacent to the abbey only to find some more strictly private signs. As this historic monument is in the care of the state it’s a real shame it appears to be completely inaccessible. A wasted journey

The Halesowen Abbey is an English Heritage property. Why they even list on their site is a mystery to me. There is a road that leads down to the abbey but it’s blocked off with CCTV warning signs. You can park at the Halesowen athletics track next to it, but unless you trespass and climb fences you aren’t getting to it. It was a waste of time and petrol coming here.
