Kalmar Castle is really beautiful, with a beautiful view. You can spend here a few hours, to visit the inner rooms you have to pay a fee, but you can just walk around for free. Nice place to visit!

A lovely place to visit, there is a lift/elevator if needed, but lots of level changes between rooms if mobility is an issue. Interesting displays and very helpful and friendly staff.

I would recommend the restaurant at Kalmar castle. I ordered a really tasty salmon there. If you are anyway going to Kalmar castle, its restaurant is a really good choice and it's pretty price worth.
