Interesting museum
Jul 2019 • Family
This is not a museum per se, but rather a collection of dinosaur related items.
Fossils, casts, facts and curiosities are mixed together in a very interesting way.
It’s sometimes hard to distinguish what’s correct information and what’s just a fun installation.
That said the level of entertainment in this establishment is quite high. Especially since you quickly realise this is the work of one or a few individuals with an inspired plan. From an entrepreneur standpoint it’s also an interesting testament to what ambition and enthusiasm can accomplish.

Nice museum with dedicated people behind. You can easily spend a couple of hours there. Museumshop at the exit.

perhaps out int he countryside you cannot expect too much. They try, and it is ok, though perhaps not your London museum...

Tired and phoney

A strange collection in a big, battered building outside Kalmar. There were a couple of real fossils, but for the most part the "dinosaurs" aren't even casts, they are copies with varying degrees of accuracy. I guess that's all right as a way to impress kids who may not be able to get to see the real thing, but what annoyed me is that this wasn't made clear, as a decent museum would, on the labelling. This is an individual's dream made reality, and I guess you have to admire his energy, but I really don't like places which don't make clear the difference between the authentic and the manufactured.

A uniqe place well worth visiting
Aug 2018
This was our second visit at this fantastic place in Tingby, near Kalmar. Our boy loves dinosaurs but this place is really nice to visit for most people I would say. Interesting historically and impressing to these animals in real sizes. Nice and knowledgeable host. A little expensive, but understand why. We’ll be back

We had a great time with the dinosaurs!

It was interesting for all ages, we tried it with our kids of 4, 8 and 10 year old and they were all interested for the duration. It was great for us adults as well!

The exhibition is located in a fixed up gigantic barn and takes 1-2 hours. There are both skeletons and moving puppets in scenic surroundings.

I highly recommend a visit!

Amazing again!

I love this place. Not because it is so perfect, but because it has such an infinite passion for dinosaurs. The guys who runs this place are able to share their passion with us in a very unique way. It would not be the same without a chat with one of the passionate owners. And they seem to love it just as much. We have been there twice and can not wait to see what they will do for next year's exhibition. I sure hope I'll get to see the huge skelletons from up above. I also heard they will make room for several new exhibits. Just can't wait for next summer!

Huge love!
From a true enthusiast!
