Wonderful Temple
Nov 2019 • Family
I have visited this temple very recently in the month of Nov 19. It is a very beautiful temple. This temple is known to bless couples with children.... I strongly believe in the miracle of this temple.

I had initial trouble since the folks who answer the phone at the temple only speak Tamil and Kannada. So for non native speakers, I wanted to share my experience.

Butter Alankaram:
You need to pre book the seva two days in advance.
Please make yourself available by 9:15 at the temple, since the seva starts at 9:30 and goes on till 11:30 / 12:00. The pujari will decorate Krishna idol with butter and let you view the idol. You can sit at the temple and meditate and chant mantras.
After 2 to 2.5 hours , the pujari will do Abhishekam and Archana
The ones who have done the butter alankaram, are given butter that was applied to the idol as prasadam.
The temple provides the butter and charge a fee of 750 Rs for the same
Cradle tying:

Couple who made a vow for a child , usually get a small cradle which will be tied in Navaneetha Krishna's temple

They charge a fee of 25 Rs for tying the cradle

Others :

I have seen people weigh their babies against jaggery and other items.

People provide clothes , fruits and other items as well. These are all as per your interest.

You can also contribute money towards Anna Dhanam( which I guess is done on weekends)

The temple has several other dieties, the main diety being Sri Rama Aparameya Swamy - very beautiful. They have dieties of Balaji Swamy, Sridevi, Bhudevi, various saints, Annapurna devi and other Mata Rani

All in all it was a very good experience. The temple is quiet and ancient. You can hear chirping of birds every where. It was indeed a beautiful experience

Location tagged for the temple in trip advisor is bit wrong
Nov 2019
Location tagged for the temple in trip advisor is bit wrong. Have to go 4 kms towards bangalore from the location tagged. Temple Gopuram can be seen on the Right hand side of the highway when mobing towards bangalore. Parking space is there. 10 Rs per parking as of Nov 2019. Navaneetha krishna/Ambegalu Krishna is not the main god there. This holy idol is also part of the temple. Dharshan was good :)

Lord Krishna and Lord Aprameya at Doddamallur
Dec 2018 • Couples
This temple of Lord Aprameya and Baby Krishna in Crawling posture is located just 2 Kms from Channapatna. This is said to be very ancient temple.. May be 11th century temple. This is 60 Kms fro Bangalore on the way to Mysore.
The main Deity is Lord Aprameya and Thayar is Aravindavalli. We can worship Lord Krishna here in crawling posture.
Most of the childless couple who visit this Krishna temple are being blessed with the Child.
They also perform Annadhan at about 12 noon on a daily basis.
Outside the temple, there are few shops selling Handicraft items.

Historical balkrishna temple
Aug 2018 • Family
This is one of the rate temple to have a krishna as a toddler idol. Its right on main Blr Mys highway so the temple stop will at max take 30 mins. I took my 94 year old grandmother as the temple is old age friendly with not many steps up or down. Outside the temple , there are few shops selling wooden toy and trinkets which deserve a look. If you have kids in family , do buy few as these are unique and interestingly made without any batteries etc.

Doddamallur Navaneetha Krishna
Feb 2018
10 min drive from Channapatna station (100 Rs. auto charges from Channapatna RS to Doddamallur station). As such no hotels. If one has to refresh can visit the Mutt run by Jai shree krishna trust. Has very basic ameneties, but still a commendable service by Shri Krishnakumar (080-29783002) and Family in such a remote place like this. A small temple where one can see the crawling Krishna (in Vennai (butter) kappu (paste) alankaram).
