Sweden is a quick jaunt across the Oresund bridge from Copenhagen airport's lower level. Within 30 minutes you're transported to another Scandinavian country. The metro station of Triangeln is the location of the Folkets park perfectly suited to families and outdoor activities. Along the avenue leading to the park are quite a few businesses, cages indoor and out, the grand church of St Johannes which is currently being renovated and scaffolded as well as thrift store finds and a large indoor Mall worth the walk around. Food stalls, restaurants, clothing stores, etc are among the shops. And to think it's just a stones throw from the Danish side of the Oresund.

Amazing place to visit with family! Beautiful park, a lot of place for kids, couple of restaurants, cafeteria and terrarium! We visit this palace in end of December so a lot of lights and Christmas atmosphere around! Definitely recommend!

If you have kids under ten and you are visiting Malmo in summer you will earn many brownie points with the kids if you take them to play in this park! We have seen free playgrounds in many countries but have never seen so many kids having so much fun!

Of course if you don't like the sound of laughter, loud squeals of delight and all around mayhem, then you had better avoid this...

It's a wide and big park. It's for free but there's nothing special there, except a beautiful fountain in a shape of rose.

Much used local park. Skateboarding area. Interesting reptile and monkey zoo, up close and personal. Worth a visit.

This was near our hotel so paid it a visit - we're in our late 60s so really not for us.
Lots of activities for the under 10s though.

We went on a school day and we all had a great time. There are great big trampolines, climbing frames, a shallow pool/ fountain area where kids have swimming clothes on and generally having a good splash. There's a few cafes. And I saw a huge turtle

This was a wonderful bustling place and would be an ideal place to take kids as there are so many playparks and children's activities available. However, even if you do not have kids there are some wonderful fountains and nice open areas and the park is a great place to have a rest from the bustle of Malmo centre.
