Long street with shops between the two main squares for bars and restaurants. Worth a browse but. I more really, the benefit is the two areas it connects

This is the main Shopping belt of Malmo, where all the locals will meet up for coffee or come shopping. Just ordinary.

A nice way to walk around town and do some window shopping and sightseeing. Old buildings and the streets are wide that you won’t cause a problem if you stop to take photos

A not very long street (about 300m) that connects two squares: Stortorget and Gustav Adolfs Torg. On both sides, mainly old buildings, with nice architecture and a couple of new ones, all of them housing at ground floor a lot of expensive shops. At the end of Stortorget there is a strange statuary ensemble, not beautiful but interesting.

Window shopping in Malmo is very pleasant and relaxed. The squares are generally large and there are some interesting old pharmacies as well as street sculptures. Try and look around the quiet and historic back streets for more genuine city life.

We arrived in Malmo from Copenhagen on a cloudy Saturday morning before most shops and restaurants opened. It is nice to seek out the various street art, sculptures and fountains. Some of the buildings were constructed centuries ago and others appear to be much more recent.

The town center was being prepped for an upcoming "Action Run Obstacle Course".

This is the main pedestrian shopping street in Malmo. It starts in The Stortorget, on the side of city hall. It proceeds all the way to Gustav Adolfs Square and the canal. Besides the large international chains like H&M, Zara, etc and fast food outlets, there are many smaller interesting shops selling local and Swedish design products. Some nice bakeries and cafes. Lots of outdoor seating to watch the people pass by. Comfortable and pleasant walk. Sorry, my photos were accidentally deleted.
