About GoBoat Malmo
Experience the city of Malmo by water in Danish-designed, electric driven picnic boats. Be the captain and set your own course and pace. A certain sense of freedom is associated with the water, and at the same time, it is a wonderful way to be together.

The boats are noticeably old, and not just from looking at them. I saw one of them adrift the other week. The engine had died! And there are no oars... guess what that means. You’ll be left to float abandoned until someone passes by. Because the company can’t help you, they don’t have personnel to do that. And even if they did they don’t have a boat to get you in. They don’t seem to care for the boats at all We booked a week in advance and just 36 hours before the booked (and payed for) date they called and cancelled because the boat had broken down and they wouldn’t be fixing it. So you have to make plans since you need to book their boats well in advance, but better have a plan B since they don’t maintain their boats. And if you DO get a boat, be prepared to drift around helplessly when the engine dies. The other company, bookaboat, costs more but at least their boats look to be in seaworthy condition.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The canal is beautiful and taking the boat out with a picnic is a great way to see the city. They did not have any life jackets for our kids to wear otherwise I’d give 5 stars !

You can rent electic boat and be its only captain :) It's easy to operate and large enough for 5-6 adults. You can take on board some food for picniс with coffee or wine and enjoy your personal romantic boat trip via Malmo channels. Strictly recommended :)

1hour trip around the canals with a guided tour on a boat. Very nice guide. Relaxing and interesting. In front of the station. 140 SEK.
