This place is just peaceful. Even though there were quite a few people around, it's just so quiet and there is lots of space.
The gardens house a direct descendant of "Newton's apple tree", it's just on the right side heading north. If you're a fan of Physics, then it is definitely worth seeing it. You can even take a pic underneath. This was definitely the highlight of the visit, but the gardens have a lot of other plants and trees, if you are also into Biology.

Entrance is free :) but the Greenhouse is currently closed because of Covid.

I wish there was a garden like this one in every city. It is so wonderful, filled with differently theamed areas and gorgeous plants. The greenhouse is a must if you're here. You can find plants from many areas of the world and the different zones have different climates. If you are a nature lover, you'll definitely enjoy this.

As it was April, most of the beds outside were bare, however going into the hot houses was lovely. small but with plenty of flora and fauna. One of the sections was a cacti house and there was also an orchid room. There were birds and frogs roaming free which were a delight.

I enjoyed this site the best when visiting Lund. It's about 10-15 minutes from the cathedral. There are some signs once you get closer and you'll most likely wander your way there once you're nearby.
There are many different paths that you can follow and the garden keepers definitely make an effort to keep the plants in good condition. Enjoy the relaxing walk on a nice day but beware of the many bees and wasps attracted to the flowers! I easily spent over an hour taking pictures and enjoying the colors.

Thanks to Jacob Georg Agardh, a Swedish botanist and taxonomist who was responsible for the planning and design of several of the buildings in the 19th century we can still enjoy his contribution to the botanical garden.

It is beautiful all year round but especially in April when tulips are in flower as well as Japanese cherry blossom or sakura. Do not forget to visit a wonderful example of a ginkgo biloba, a tulip tree and several big katsura trees among others.

The grounds are nice but the gem is the indoor area. They have different plants from different areas from dry to humid. I live in a desert area and was amazed at the collection. It’s a nice way to spend an hour or two

A really pretty well looked after gardens. Pleasant to walk around, and a relaxing oasis. I visited in the sunny autumn day and some of the lovely autumn browns and reds were starting to show, I would like to visit this in summer too to see the contrast.

The outside gardens are quite pleasant with a wide variety of plants (that can survive in the southern Swedish climate).
Don't miss going into the winter garden with different climates from tropical to desert. Especially, nice when the air is cold outside.
